I'm gonna side with Makata on this one, not for the statements he made about Ulduar which he obviously has no concept about, but about the hypocrisy of some posters. I know some of the people eager to bitch about the 20 posts about the legitimacy of twink battlegrounds will go on and on about how x class averages 50 dps more than them on y encounter or how difficult Loken is.

Fuck, it's a discussion because people feel it's worth talking about, if you had anything to actually add to the discussion you could have brought that up and possibly the thread would be about that now.

To be honest, they need to simply divorce flight speed from the mount. When you 'achieve' 310 speed, all mounts need to go that fast. Like its ridiculous the 100 mount reward is still 280. The... ahem... dedicated... people in my guild who have the dragonhawk, ride to raid on protodrakes, then hop on their dragohawk to show off as they wait afk outside of uludar.

The whole situation is like a massive greek dork-tragedy.

I like talking about any topic that's at least somewhat interesting, be it PvP, or PvE, or even Hello Kitty. I don't like hammering stupid bullshit into the ground for page after page, and generally call people out when they do the same, no matter if it's Loken, level 29 twink ass PvP, or Big W talking about the size of the latest dick he just took up his asshole. So yes, fuck the twink PvP discussion, fuck the PvE hate (which he has no legs to stand on, btw), and fuck Big W Powah.

Clearly by your definition there's no need to discuss anything more about ulduar since it's been done and that would just be hammering stupid bullshit.

How long til they hotfix engineering so that WG can't be won in a couple minutes. Is it going to take til it becomes common practice or will they do it right away?

Is this in regards to a team getting max siege vehicles within 2 minutes of the match starting. Currently alliance seems to be the only ones on my server doing it. I'd really be curious how it's done. Isnt that the way we get bugs fixed, publicize them?

The server I'm on more often than not has no horde turning up for Wintergrasp at all apparently. No I don't mean not many, I mean none! I joined up for a battle today and Not one sighting of a horde during the BG, they resorted to using some form of /duel exploit to finish the "Destroy 3 enemy siege vehicles" quest. Something involving throwing down the challenge, grabbing a vehicle then jumping out and losing the duel and the vehicle explodes which then gave the raid a point towards the quest.

I watched in amusement as everyone trundled out like robots on pre-assigned missions to insta-grab the workshops, grab the vehicles and bomb the towers. Occasionally I will logon early in a morning and see that Horde have control, I can only presume the chinese farmers take it overnight for some reason or other

There are two ways. One is the zone is designed to give an advantage to the side that apparently wins less, and this faction gets two advantages: they do not have to capture the two northern workshops, and they get rank 2 in two or three kills. I thought this was a bug for the longest time until I was told otherwise, which was a big WTF moment for me, considering my server's Alliance certainly did not need it.

The second is that "air raids" form and fly into the fortress after the zone begins, and just slaughters everybody inside with 90 seconds of tenacity they don't deserve, because the zone calculates tenacity very infrequently. This gives them rank 2 quickly.

The door has always been vulnerable to siege damage from engineer bombs. They just dramatically reduced the hitpoints of the door in 3.1. Which, I might add, was completely unnecessary and retarded.
