+13 Internets | I'm not the king of deathknights or anything, nor am I even frost currently, but why did they nerf frost strike like that? Was it broken in some super-epic tier I'll never reach? Because it sure as shit was nothing special when I tried it. Frost hp bonus getting changed isn't super surprising, sucks, but not surprising at all. Scourge strike, well, the reduction doesn't look like it will be huge, I'm more miffed about having to spend 7 points to get back my old desecration effect, though I wager I'll skip the 50% snare if I can and just buy the 5 points of blood strike buff.

+56 Internets | Wouldn't the new 5% damage buff that's replacing Desecrate only be up for half of your cycles though? Since it's only 12sec duration, and you spend the second cycle spamming Scourge Strike instead of Bloodstrike? So it's like 7 points to get half your aura back.

So the new stuff will be harder than Ulduar? I think we need a more balanced transition from Naxx to Ulduar. I see too many guilds in all 25 man Naxx that have that place on e-z-mode lockdown that are having a nightmare in Ulduar.

| Ok, tell me if I'm understanding this right. With the changes to how Heroic and Normal raids work, we can now raid Naxx, etc. 4 times a week? 10man normal, 25man normal, 10 man heroic, 25man heroic? |

+36 Internets | Well that's a lot of DK tanking nerfs. Without any compensation this time. I wonder if they're really gonna go with those, reduce hp by a decent margin(should be at pld/warriors lvls after the nerfs in blood spec, less in other specs), armor nerf again(with the current nerf we're basically at shield tank lvl, with 5% less DKs will have the least armor), IBF nerf as expected making it worse than paladin cooldown and worse than glyphed shield wall. Threat as frost should also be significantly worse with the Frost Strike changes. Combined with the shield block changes, and the various paladin stuff, paladins might very well be the best tanks in 3.2, the new Ardent Defender looks especially nice, and the new LoH should act as a secondary cooldown. And DKs are most likely the worse with less hp, less armor, slightly more avoidance and same cooldowns. |

Though frankly a few of classes would probably call their T8 set an incremental upgrade or sidegrade from T7 given some of the well rather odd itemization choices. So perhaps this T9 will just fix that. Last edited by Campa; 06-18-2009 at 04:46 PM.. | |

+2 Internets | God, as much as I don't want to comment about it, since it's in regard to arena, and it'll probably bring the Rusty Makata down upon us all... Since they've decided to turn rated 2v2 arenas into what amount to a skirmish match, are they also going to undo the massive amount of nerfs across all classes, based on class performance in 2v2 arena? They've wasted all this time butchering classes because of 2v2, and now, we're going to get it all over again as they re-balance classes for 3's and 5's. Happy Happy, Joy Joy. |

| No changes to the ABYSMALLY TERRIBLE battleground queue system. No surprise there. The masochist in me loves those 15v5s I enter every day. I consider delaying the Alliance's free no-skill-required 5 caps in AB a victory in itself. Hunter trap changes are certainly interesting. Of course you already had a class that had a trillion key bindings and now they just added two more. The gap between the high end hunters and the mediocre hunters will grow even larger. Feral changes are awesome. I run a 2v2 with a resto shaman who hates to be cookie cutter. Feral burst was the only gimmick we had. Now they nerf that and give ferals nothing PvP wise to compensate. On top of that, I won't be able to spend my arena points. Nice change considering Blizzard acknowledged that (resto) Druids were overpowered in 2s and that it was balanced out by them being one of the lower end healers in 5s. Ferals are, of course, also far less attractive in 3s/5s. PvE changes affecting my PvP! Goddamn PvE ruining this game! |

+16 Internets | How would an "AQ" style set be different than the current tier sets? The primary difference of AQ sets was they were only 5 pieces instead of 8, which is what current tiers already are.. |
