Prolly still want to get your healers the legendary as well, all healers with that thing proc'ing and building shields could be a thing of beauty.

Druids already take significantly less damage than DKs with the current patch. They have about 3000 more armor and ~3% more avoidance in BiS gear. DKs are still favored for the 1000-1500 extra HP and far superior cooldowns.

Yes, I know this. My comment was PRE NOT POST.

I know what my class can use.
The fact that our BIS gear even includes PvP gear is beyond fucking retarded.

I had completely forgotten about Thorim for this reason. I detest the way PvP is implemented in WoW to the point I forget or disacknowlege it's existence.

I am a casual in nothing but Naxx gear and I think it is idiotic. I would rather have to achieve something new to get my upgrades, not I can do heroic VH in a pug and get conquest badges and get all decked out. Weeee fun?

Paladins might actually be the new top tanks with these patch changes, the new Ardent Defender is, at worst, +10.5% HP straight up. Given the large damage amounts Ulduar bosses hit for it's going to be closer to +15% HP most of the time. They have +12% STA on top of that.

I haven't played WoW since a month or two after the last expansion came out, but FUCKING A, they finally put a timer on WSG. Whoever did that after it was suggested likely literally tens of thousands of times should get a fucking bonus.

As a dps plate class you could get:
2 pieces of tier 8.5 (chest and helm)
crafted belt from orbs - Belt of the Titans - Item - World of Warcraft
crafted boots from orbs - Battlelord's Plate Boots - Item - World of Warcraft
conquest neck - Spiked Battleguard Choker - Item - World of Warcraft
conquest gloves - Bladebreaker Gauntlets - Item - World of Warcraft
Libram or Sigil if applicable
And if you really wanted:
Valor Ring, cloak, and 2 tier 7.5 pieces (legs and shoulders)

only doing 5 mans. Granted that's a shit load of badges but its amusing it can be done that way now.

It's not like WoW was ever fair with the distinction between loot attainability and work. It has always allowed for the up and comer to get close to the guy that busted his ass.

High end content being trivialized for the masses after weeks of hardcores busting their asses to no end?

Complete resets in gear levels with pvp seasons? Expansion changes resulting in greens being better than purples? A collect 10 quest in wrath wasn't grand compared to pulling off illidan, but my trinket slot changed as a result.

Spending 600g on a horse, how much work went into that 100% speed purple? New guy now comes along and spends 60g on it.

Sorry that you're casual Timmy getting handouts you don't want. Yes, it should diminish your ability to feel like your doing something meaningful, maybe you should step-up? I don't know.

Sorry if I missed it when reading, but the new 5 man instance will drop Emblems of Conquest?

Every instance and raid will drop Conquest except the new raids

Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Heroism or Valor, such as Naxxramas or Heroic Halls of Stone, will now drop Emblems of Conquest instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism.

Everywhere where Valor and Heroism used to drop are now Conquest, the new instance drops Triumph.

The problem with the crafted items above being easy to get is probably going to be Titansteel Bars and Eternals. Some good $$ to be had there.
