Our FG group the other night was basically perfect, but am I seriously the only person that rolled a Fighter? Monk isn't exactly an optimal tank.... But I guess i'll have to adjust my thinking if i'm the only one in the guild right now...

I had thought that we had a few SK's which is why I am not just playing mine heh. Works out better though, my SK is already in his 30's.

I'm an SK, some guy who was almost my level is an SK and Itzena is an SK, I think there's a 4th out there too. There was so many on at one time once I almost rerolled

I'm leveling a SK, already 22, should be 28-30 by the end of the day, class is so overpowered.

I still find myself wanting to log on and play even though I haven't grouped too much. The Illusionist is totally badass, really enjoying it. I can solo great and seem to desired for groups. I'm one of the two enchanters we have, so usually two in the one guild group thats usually going on is a bit much. It really hasn't been hard to find a pug though, there are a TON of lowbies running around due to that steam deal that went on. Most of the players seem to be a bit clueless though, so it's a bit of a hit or miss on whether the groups are successful.

I'm definately taking my time going through the content, but the rate of leveling is pretty fast.. I find myself turning off my combat exp more often than not. Working on AA's is quite addictive for me(up to 28 so far), I took a day just to go back to Antonica to work on the 10-20 quests for all the AA exp. I definately want to try to get some heritage quests going, so contact me in game if you'd like to do some..(Knellict in game, 30Illy atm)

The guild did get a bit more active than I thought for a day or so, hope it'll keep up. If not, I don't think it'll be difficult to find another lowbie friendly guild...

So I hit up a free trial of this again after reading this read and being bored to hell of WoW. I've tried it a couple times before, but it's a somewhat little thing i suppose, but just curious... Is the trial client a low res client, it doesn't look anywhere near as decent as most screenshots I've seen, but on that note are robe models suppose to look retarded still? The Npc ones look decent, but my models is awful blended into itself and totally pixalites when you run, is that just something you have to deal with?

I think the trial doesn't let you experience the full quality of the games graphics since it was sort of the same for me. Once I upgraded to the full game the graphics looked 100x better. I haven't played in 5 months.. maybe somewhat changed now. Don't know if you can change the eq2client.ini settings anymore but you used to be able to unlock special graphical settings that are not in the games settings.

To be honest, I didnt think we would even have this many play. So, just play whatever you want and realize you are likely often going to have to be proactive in getting yourself in a group....we dont have enough on consistently to make balanced groups. It's incredibly easy getting into a pickup group with the number of people on AB, just that you have to make an effort to do so. Solo xp is still fast as hell as a backup plan.

Also, I dont think anyone will be butthurt at all if you wanted to ditch and join some random newbie zerg guild like Blackhawks (who have like 1k+ people) for the chance to meet more people or whatever. I keep telling people, think of the guild as a meet and greet from FoH forums but dont expect it to be some stable guild steamrolling content with organized groups on every night. Also, with the insane speed of leveling now in this game its really easy for people to quickly separate from one another in levels if someone isnt on much for a few days or whatever.

But yeah man play whatever you want, but it seems like healer is what we are lowest on now? Or maybe a tank? it depends how often these people play.

But yeah my god is leveling easy, can't believe these bitches are almost caught up to me when they started when I was 43 lol.

But yeah I am surpised how many people we got (even if they aren't in mistwalkers they are in fohchat).

Ya I get that it might not be consistent but it is an alternative to me being bored in WoW. Might as well hit up EQ2 instead of just staring at my screen in WoW doing nothing. Patching right now then I will roll a healer, I kind of miss healing since EQ when I played a cleric. Never looked back when I made my mage in WoW, maybe now is the time though.
