Immortal Soldiers. I can rarely make raid times due to my schedule, but we're...uh i guess about half way through most TSO raid stuff.

I know of a few guilds of varying levels of hardcore-ness i could recommend if we arn't recruiting (not totally sure how we handle recruiting folks. I'm not the recruiter hehe )

I'm Slagnath on Permafrost if ya see me on i can chat in real time.

OP updated to here for players, quite a smattering, more than I thought honestly.

How is it that EQ alone manages to generate so much drama? There's more drama here then Iran right now.

What the hell are you talking about? There is a severe lack of drama in this thread at the moment :P

AB have had most of it's upper echelon raiding guilds fall apart over the last few weeks. Not 100% on why it all happened, but from what members we've absorbed from that, it seems it was too difficult and not enjoyable any more.

Mallic (80 SK), Sider (80 warden) on AB.

Also have a bruiser, brigand, coercer, conjuror, dirge, and wizard between 52-76.

Usually on Mallic, but I'll have all my chars join the fohchat channel, willing to mentor on whatever to help out 8)

I'm 21, almost 22 now and things slowing down a lot without a group. Someone look me up when they see me on. I went to BB off recommendations but it doesn't seem all that grand~

it may be that the great procc nerf made some guild's ability to dps through certain encounters not quite work the same anymore.

It could also be that the end game shit has stuff like "if this detrimental effect isn't cured, you wipe the raid lols" all over it. and they may have just gotten sick of it

Could someone explain deity's to me. I can't really find a guide all I can find is the abilities that you get, but what are the favor points that you need to cast the spells is that like tribute from eq1?

And when solo leveling is there any reason to do instances? I'm a 43 SK so far and I've just been doing the solo quest lines without touching any instances.

About Deities, I'm pretty new to this, but Favor points are like a set pool of points you have, you use them to change your current blessing/miracle. You have to pay everytime you wanna switch, you get a lot of points from doing the quests(which also unlock the various powers, you can only use the first tier with the first quest etc) and you can get points from making offerings to your god. Go to your house, drop the altar in there, at the bottom you can make donations, just drop all the shit loot you get from quests/drops that won't sell for much. The lvl 25 I dropped in there was giving between 40 and 80points each, need around 1k to change blessings, more for miracles, so as you level up it shouldn't be hard to switch if you want to.

Other than that, once you bought a miracle and a blessing, you can use them whenever you feel like. They have a 1hour cooldown(not sure if they're linked I only bought the blessing saving points for the 2nd tier miracle in a few levels). Favor points are basically only for switching your setup.

No, you buy only 2 "charges". So even without switching, you have to use your favor. Anyway, after doing all the quests you will have a lot of favor.
Blessing and miracles are not linked.
You have different qualities of altar, the first you get from your first quest, some player-made, one you get later in your questing, and raid mobs dropped altar. It change the cost and the favor you get from items. Not that it matter really, you get so much favor from quests.

Now that i am in a guild killing avatars, I am very KoS to all the gods, an heretic, and i had to say bye to blessings/miracles. Sucks.
