+29 Internets | Okay I am gonna resub... Play VERY casually. I miss the game... It will be fun to group up sometimes. I know it has probably been said over and over... but where is the cheapest way to get a key for TSO?

| I ran around and collected precious shinies with my Ratonga for about two hours and had a blast. I have no idea what it is about those little glowing question marks but they're so damn addicting. I think I figured out what my buttons do again as well, which was a bonus, may end up playing this again now that I've stopped playing WoW. I'll hit someone up for an invite I guess when I'm on next. |

+29 Internets | I have everything but TSO. I was seeing if I could DL the client right now without going to get TSO until I needed it. Also, there is a local Gamestop that has it for 30 bucks. Steam has it for 40.

+4 Internets | I am pretty sure you can just download the Trial Client and put in your account details and download the full version from there. EverQuest II - Massively Multiplayer Role-Playing Game

| Plugged In Like Neo | I gotta say, it's nice to see crowd control mean half a shit in this game. Being an Illusionist and being able to mez 3+ mobs at a time is completely badass. It's bringing back that EQ1 feeling where I felt powerful. I haven't really felt powerful in an MMO since then - every class I've played felt like I was playing the UI and not the game. Having to jump in, switch targets, assist like crazy, deal with resists, root and mez and shit....totally fantastic. We ran Crushbone all the way through Vindicator Crush last night and the CC was a game changer. Big difference from WoW where sheeping was an inconvenience to the paladin and other AEers. In EQ2, mezzing makes the mobs immune to AOE attacks and spells - which is a mechanic I wish all games would steal. Having a LOT of fun this time. Level 32 with no intention of slowing down. My highest character in EQ2 ever is 34, but thankfully I managed to completely skip Butcherblock altogether. I was impressed to see 19 Mistwalkers online last night as well. |
