Havent been able to game much in the last few days. I think maybe tomorrow if i dont have to work late and later in the week i will have alot more free time.

I need to just put in 2-3 days of serious hours and make some levels.

Questing in Greater Fay on my little Fae. This zone is frustrating the heck out of me - even with Glide and no falling damage. Maybe I'm just a noob, but I've needed to look up strats for several quests already and I'm level 14. "Find the stump" in a forest full of fucking stumps...underneath a city held up by stumps.

Anyway, I like my Illusionist. I just feel like the layout + quest design in Greater Fay is not a good newb experience - even though it's beautiful.

Whats the realm populations like now? The combat still have the que system? Sigh I really like that game, everytime I quit WoW I always go back to eq2 for a few months thinking it's the best thing ever then somehow I always lose interest. Me and guildies had a plat dupe right when the game first came out so my character is still sitting on about 20k pp lol, not sure if that's alot anymore but it was astronomical when I played... my house was a beast.

AB population is pretty good, always alot of chatter on the various channels. I logged onto my character on Permafrost and it seemed like a ghost town compared to AB.

I am going to resub with an old account - lvl 50 templar and lvl 44 fury.

Naw, she's an offtank for us, we use a shadowknight as our MT. Brawlers have good raidwide buffs (every fighter gets a buff that hits everyone in raid, and paladins can get a second one as an AA ability), but a big problem they have this expansion is that they don't get anywhere near the physical mitigation plate tanks do, while plate are about the same as brawlers for avoidance.

I wouldn't be shocked if some raid forces use a brawler for a MT, but they have it harder this expansion than in previous ones as plate tanks have started to pull away from em.

I recall this game being pretty difficult if you didn't have friends or money to get the uber crafted shit with.

Oh you'd want to be a Bruiser... You can solo well, groups aren't hard to get as a poor dps in a crunch, and nobody would EVER want you to raid so that's taken care of too.

Similar to someone above, how good is a Dirge in a group/raid environment? And at soloing?

Is crafted gear still the best shit for leveling (I remember I used quest shit and I got raped by most stuff, then some Mistwalkers guy gave me some plat and I bought a suit of crafted + weapons, and the rape train got turned on the mobs).

I'm going to make a dark elf (will post name here when I get around to it) dirge: what's a good route to go for AA's for leveling?

What's a good zone progression plan for leveling?

Do they delete characters after a certain time period of inactivity? I could have sworn I had a couple 30ish characters on my account with money on them, but the only thing on there was a level 5 random Fae =/
