You can only learn 1 tradeskill per character, but you can harvest all nodes up to maximum.

Really, for now, any tank can tank, so I would say play the one you prefer, but with SoE you never know what can happen and what will be the next OP (or crappy) class. Just avoid brawlers if you want to tank in raid (or more exactly, if you want to raid). Edit: as an healer, I find the paly death save worse than the others 3 so I prefer the others tanks but that's me. Last edited by Bloodget; 06-23-2009 at 02:27 PM..

| Haven't gone over this thread yet, but I've been getting the EQ itch recently. Basically, the Bard class in EQ1 is my favorite class of any MMORPG I've ever played. I dabbled in EQ2 (I have the All-in-One compilation from a bit ago, I think it includes up to Echoes of Faydwer) awhile back, but only got to level 30 or so before I stopped playing (I played that more offensive styled Tank); this was mostly due to lack of people to play with/friends in the game. I really want to get back into it, playing one of the Bard-ish classes. I take it from this thread that a bunch of FoH'ers are playing, so I imagine there is a guild about that I could hook up with and have some people to play with. So, the question: will I have fun as one of the Bard classes? The answer to this can probably be based off my love of the EQ1 Bard. If so, which one? I seem to recall the two bard classes being like a split between the EQ1 bard, as in one was more debuffing and one was more buffing. Is this correct? Which of the two (I think it was Troubadour and...Dirge?) is more fun/better polished or whatever? Are they in demand? Second, I imagine at least one more expansion has been released since Faydwer. If I do start playing again, is anything worth buying beyond EoF right away, or should I wait and see if I'm going to play for longer this time? So yea, hopefully you guys can answer my questions. I really don't have any desire to play anything but a Bard, and I know I could get into it if the class isn't just fuck-all bad and I have people to play with. | Hmm. Now I find out the new server(s) might be opening for EQ1 next week, supposedly after the fan faire. Think I'm gonna wait that out and see what happens before renewing EQ2. I don't play either game, but I'll probably resub to EQ1 just to check out the new server. Obviously the 51/50 server is guaranteed, but they seem to be hinting they might open another, which everyone hopes will be progression. |

1) A genie bottle that does something from DoF ( I think it makes an in-house pet Genie) 2) Its a Bag to hold stuff 3-5 ) XP Potion 6) A cloak with a nice design from The Shadow Odyssey 7) I forget but I think it's a Kingdom of Sky item or EoF item that turns into something like an in-house pet 8) Ring that when you right click begins the Bloodlines Chronicle quests 9) A deck of LoN cards I think and some other gay shit

+19 Internets | You can party with anyone. Whether your evil or good really makes no difference except for which class you want to play. As for the rewards they are usually exp potions for adventuring or tradeskilling along with other fluff items. -edit bastage! |

+13 Internets | That bottled genie thing takes you to a little instance where you walk around and hail NPCs and they say stuff. It's kind of lame, but I think it can also take you to a DoF zone through a portal. |
