| Two things: Dungeon Fighter Online went out of closed beta not too long ago around August 6th. Closed beta was pretty smooth considering the large amounts of people logged in. There was no buggy quests, graphical errors, or anything wrong outside of a few "Engrish" grammar mistakes in quest text. It really seems polished for a closed beta. I gave all the classes a roll and Priest is currently my favorite. Something awesome about a muscle bound priest who wields a giant cross to crush the bad guys. Anyways, last bit of news was to expect open beta in "a few weeks" so guessing sometime in September-ish. ![]() Second thing being the similarities between Dungeon Fighter Online and D&D: Shadows Over Mystria are getting further evident. One of the "new" classes from the Korean build of the game is the Thief. The thief can break off into 4 subclasses: Rogue, Assassin, Necromancer, and Kunoichi. (Trying to use what will be the "English" names of the subclasses. The Korean wiki for the game will use alternate titles but class functions the same.) Default abilities for the thief class are extremely anti-air and they're pretty much the gods of air juggling in PVP. Lots of moves borrowed from Cammy in Street Fighter if you check it out. |

+75 Internets | Alright dudes I have scored 15 early access beta keys at PAX. These codes will let you into the beta on 9/15 I've earmarked a code for Syringed, James and Hatorade. If you want a code PM me your email and I'll try to get one out to you as time permits edit: Syringed pm me if you need one, wasn't sure if you're in already or not Last edited by Zarcath; 09-05-2009 at 07:51 PM.. |

+75 Internets | got to play the demo a bit and it seems cool. Only gripe I had was with the button layout, but i was told you can remap it. You pretty much play exclusively with the keyboard. Only got to play solo, there's co-op and pvp. It's pretty much exactly like the old D&D arcade games. which is awesome. |

+75 Internets | I'm tired of typing out the instructions to everyone so i'll just post it here. I have a grip of codes now, they were passing them out like candy a few minutes before the expo closed. For the Early Access Beta on 9/15 go to dungeonfighter.nexon.net Click on the early access beta key redemption button (this button is not up yet, probably in the next few days) follow the instructions there enter the beta code (that I sent you) For the Loot Card Code (I was told this redeems $5 worth of nexon points which can be used for microtransactions) Redeem your code at Virtual Swag - Nexon |
