| FFXI I've been playing Aion a lot lately but while I play it I keep thinking about FFXI and WoW. I mean, I leveled a Spiritmaster alt up to level 21 but everytime I summon one of her pets its like...Puny fire pet, you're no Ifrit, cute water pet you're no Leviathan, but the earth pet and Titan are a toss up I must say. Anyone here still in FFXI? I see that they are still on the Wings of the Godess expansion. I'm tossing the idea around of playing for a bit. My relationship with XI is one of abuse and neglect. I've walked out on XI a dozen times, but I always find myself missing it and end up walking back all excited just like its my first time again. Seriously though, what's up with the game now? How are the new scenario chapters? Have they decided to let the game die off in light of XIV as I cannot find any information on a future expansion? Is there still a reasonable NA player base in the game?

A lot of the well known FFXI Linkshells are playing on Vaizel server in Aion (Excellence, Blue Gartr, and a few others). I'm playing with Ex.

+39 Internets | Magma elemental, the asmo 4k DP ability. There's also another one for elyos, Tempest elemental. They combine 2 elementals, magma being earth+fire and tempest being water+air. Also, every rank of the elementals increase their visuals. The last rank fire definitely looks good, with a huge shield and sword. |

| I'm curious as to how Hunters fare leveling in LK. I just dusted off my old 70 and he kinda blows. Someone tell me if I'm just spoiled, because I'm comparing him to leveling a destro lock (kills shit in 3 spells if one crits, 4 if not), a ret pally (doesn't slow down if he's killing 1 mob or 4, things die in a handful of GCD's), a DK (same), and even a Fury warrior (fights go quickly and he ends at full HP just like the ret pally). I just feel like he's lost a ton of oomph since the previous levels, that fights last too long and he uses too much mana, and adds are such a larger pain in the ass than on any of the other classes. I'm assuming BM with a warpstalker is the way to go? I messed around with Survival as well but at the same time I was trying to use a new pet 5 levels below me so it was rather difficult to judge the effectiveness. | You on Blackdragon Flight horde? If so I will, so long as I get to RAF you. I've got an 80 that can run us through instances as well. I can give you gold to train/bags/mount shit to.

There is zero downtime. It isn't as fast as a ret pally, but it also requires zero skill or brainpower...not that a ret pally does, it is just even lower maintenance than that if that is even possible. You can just send pet and autoshot everything basically if you wanted to. Switch to viper for a mob or two if you need mana.

Hunter's mark, sting, chimera, aimed, arcane: loot, rinse and repeat. You can viper sting and chimera that if you want mana, or serpent+chimera if you want damage. Pet can be anything you want, just turn growl on and misdirect on it when it's up if you want. I like wolves because their buff makes me hit even harder and you can find wolves all around Northrend up to level 80 ones, so there is no need to catch up with pet levels. If you want, spec BM tank-pet with your secondary spec (take all the pet survival skills and use a tenacity pet) and use glyph of mending, you'll solo 5 players quests most of the times, 3 ppl ones will be a joke.
