Are all the TBC zone quests grey to a level 80? Would a level 69 quest be grey to a level 80?

For example, a level 68 quest is grey to a level 81 but would it be green to a level 80?

Yes they are grey. It goes by the same level gap as killing a mob does.

Yep lock has some fun mechanics. Loving destruction as an orc, just so powah. Gotta love the ranged lock down combo, makes pallies sweat buckets.

Thread is going splendidly! Now if we can keep this stuff here and away from the thread relating to patch 3.1 and Ulduar we are in BIZNASS.

Better than the lack of self esteem most of you bastards have raping my internets to feel good about yourselves! Nah, kidding, don't care. Actually, if I can get through a thread labeled patch 3.1 Ulduar without reading about non related banter I should be quite proud I suppose .

Back on "track": WoW is not a boring pos. It is neither boring, nor a pos. Its a great game and they are on a great foot with Ulduar. If they can straighten PvP up with a little more options/scenery and pizazz like attack or spell type specific death animations I would GLADLY pay more monthly. Wtb: PvP system revamp test server. Would love to see in my patch notes "K, we got this here realm up, some crazy shit we can't promise and a definite character wipe, just getting the idea mill going and trying some things". It'd get people back and encourage people to roll more characters. I think leveling through battlegrounds is the right step, I'd gladly roll up a healer through pvp and then raid one. I just really, really, dont want to level up an ele or enhance shaman or a shadow priest then switch to discipline, resto, holy etc. People that level up dpsing have very, very mixed feelings (like being neutered I dont know) about going healer.

Does race matter for hunters horde side?

Is there a best/worst? Or is it all just how you look?

Cause honestly, trolls have the coolest look imo.

Blood Elf Female, you'll level faster because you don't need to tab out when you want to rub one out.

K so i guess my question fits here better than starting a new thread...

I haven't played WoW since just after TBC was released, and i'm a casual, non-raiding player, <10 hours a week, is it worth it coming back? Any tips on what race/classes/trades/whatever are cool right now for casual play?

Big W: roll an orc hunter for horde. dwarf for alliance.

Its worth playing WoW 10 hours a week. There's plenty of pug Naxx raids, battlegrounds and of course arena if that is your thing. Arena never takes more than 10 hours a week and bgs are fast to pop. As for further end raiding you could def raid 2 nights a week with a guild that doesnt mind. We only require 90% attendence monthly for our raider status players and keep a whole mess of member status players who are in minimum 25man naxx gear that make most but not all raids. So yes, it is worth it, there's plenty of achievements to do and stuff. You may ask the point of achievements (something new to the game) because you dont get "phat lewts" but you didnt for beating Mario Bros. 3 and that game is fuckin' awesome. The point of the achieve is that you (hopefully) have fun doing it and there's a sense of accomplishment.

WoW in it's current form is more friendly to the '10 hour a week' player than anything in the genre beforehand. Heroics are easy to knock out in 30 min - an hour, there are plenty of casual type guilds that raid 2 or 3 nights a week, naxx/os/eoe are all PUGed on a daily basis, and the levelling curve has been toned down a bit. Arena and BG's as well, if that's your thing. Definately worth another shot for something to kill an afternoon or two a week, it's really not a game designed for the 6 - 12 5 days a week crowd anymore.

As a very strong caveat here, make sure you pick a server with a good population. In fact, pick the ones they recommend against.

I server-moved to a sandbox ages ago now and am looking at a chunk of cash if I ever want to get my 80s off what is now a shitty server period. I am bored with my guild (oh boy, Ulduar clear with no hard modes soon) and the recruitment is abysmal. The PUG naxx even is period not happening for alts, in fact even the pug WG stuff is pretty ugly.

Go max pop and suck up the lag and queues.

Adding on to the last post, this site is helpful for looking for a suitable server to transfer/start again on : WoW Guild Rankings :: WoWProgress - World of Warcraft Rankings and History

I used it to choose a new euro server and at pretty much all hours of the day, even when i cant sleep and have wandered on at 3am I have seen ads in /2 looking for people for naxx pugs and loads of guilds recruiting for Ulduar etc. The caveat to that is that almost every pug ad expects you to link your epic and naxx achievements etc but if you are feeling brave you can use the fake achievements mod to at least get your foot in the door. Not sure how you are supposed to hide the messages when you start spamming them upon killing the first boss etc
