I have no friends in game just yet, none that'd trust me enough to use their account. Its my first real shot at the game since vanilla, and none of my vanilla friends play still.

If somebody has a old 70 or 80 they don't play anymore though; I bet we could work out a deal. =P

I got a level 65 druid was thinking of 3 boxing him with 2 new characters.

Can you still gain good exp. with RAF + running through dead mines and SM etc with the 2 lower levels tagging along?

yes anyone level 60 or above can boost lowbies pretty simple, a really good person can do 1-60 in under 12 hours, for the first time it'll probably take 20-26 hours. its very simple

1-10 quest at start hub (summon other person if diff races, RAF lets you summon-a-friend)
11-20 SFK, can do 2/3ds of the instance in 1-2 pulls and leave lowbies at start
20-40 SM cathedral, can do entire instance in 1-2 pulls and leave lowbies at start
40-45 quest hinterlands if horde (giant quest hub 2-3 hours) dunno alliance
45-55 stratholme, just do pulls until 15 mins then reset and repeat
55-60 either continue stratholme or if ur main is 75+ can do hellfire ramps


its always funny to see sam deathwalkers thread because it reminds you that a smart person could have had 40 level 60s within 2 weekends.

remember the high person boosting must NOT have any RAF ties - so if you have account1, account2, account3 and account1 has your high char, then account2 should RAF account3 and thats it. 2 & 3 get 3x XP boost as long as they are within 5 levels of each other, account1 supplies the muscle. When you are done you can also level another 2 toons to 31 in a few hours on account1 & 2 and grant them 29 levels for a total of four level 60s for maybe 40 hours of play.

Beasts for skinning: Salt Flats in Thousand Needles. Western Arathi Highlands.

Humanoids for Cloth/Cash: Harpies in Stonetalon. Humans in Hillsbrad Fields... or just wandering around the "deep end" (south east) Hillsbrad, including those dwarves in the corner.

Yes. Just kill them close to the lower levels.

Well, I am a fairly new 80 (about 2 months ago) so a lot of my time was spent gearing for heroics. I spent a lot of money and got lost into raiding fulltime.

I decided to do a daily circuit of 25 quests plus mining in off-hours. Today I think I made 800-1000g by doing 25 dailies and mining in WG during the early morning. Thanks.

From first hand experience Frost specced DKs with Hungering Cold + Howling Blast are gods at instance boosting. Cause when you get to the 50+ instances you use HC instead to spread diseases and if you have to bandage, then drop a howling blast and some blood boil and boom you just laid out half a instance, plus you can always summon a ghoul and kill him off real quick for that extra 40% health. Was able to solo Ramps and BF at lvl73 getting my rogue nicely equiped with little effort.

Pretty sure they did. When I was PLing mining it seemed like it was 75% success.
