| Ah, the whiny cunts who claimed Fuck off. Go find some shitty grindtastic bug-ridden mess to champion instead of something where it's possible that the devs might have potentially been paying attention. |

I never said I advocated the grinding or the ridiculousness that was some of the raid bosses in FFXI. As I said earlier in the thread, I'm excited that it might be more casual/solo friendly and take some cues from WoW. I hope the devs have been paying attention. That being said, it doesn't mean it has to be Free Realms in the FF world either. The statement I made was simply saying maybe the asian version of casual/easy will still be a bit more difficult than WoW (leveling, questing, item acquisition - not trying to start an argument that WoW raid encounters are not difficult enough) while not being so difficult or annoying that it shuts out the larger audience. I would personally not have a problem with returning to a world where having an "epic" or "legendary" magical item actually means something.

| A Bearded Gnome | We know one thing that will kick ass and it's the AH system they use. Still the best out of any mmo out there.

The AH in final fantasy is so goddamn clunky, you can't search for anything by typing in the name, and you can't sell custom number stacks. It's awful.

| Yeah, I don't think so. I don't tolerate grinds. I got to something like 29 in my first free month of FFXI and was done. That was some gay shit. I enjoy doing sprints to max level - I don't enjoy fucking marathons. Leveling to 60 in WoW was fun. I made 5th worldwide and first Hunter on that. Didn't try on 70 since I was duoing and such though. 80 I got first Hunter/Orc on my server with 40 hours 40 minutes. First 80 on the server beat me by like 40-45 mins but had a 3 hour head start. Sadly I had the 3 hour delay due to being on PST and demanding a collector's edition of it. Short stuff like that is fun. Marathon grinds are not fun and never will be fun. WoW's leveling speed is just about perfect and hopefully FFXIV learns from that. That speed would go well with a multi-class system. |

| I can dance if I want to | FFXI's leveling time is actually less. It's just the ways to PL in FFXI are not as obvious(and I'm not talking just SMN burning). I can get a char 1-75 in FFXI way faster than 1-80 in wow. It's only slow when you're doing random groups with people who suck(or are just average)...which, when has that ever been good in any MMO? Of course, even though it's a lot less time, it's also pure grinding...and 30-50hours of grinding sure SEEMS a lot longer than it is. |

| I'm actually absolutely bored of questing. Every new MMO now has some annoying quest system where you have to do several run back and forth quests, I'd rather just be able to get a group going and grind out a couple of levels. |
