Beta starts today if anyone is interested THQ*ICE - Dragonica Online | Home haven't had the chance to play it but looks interesting. 3D side scroller via Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, Battle toads. Seeing as how I LOVED those games I want to check this out. Dragonica Online Preview Beta on FilePlanet has the sign ups as well.

Meh. Part of the enjoyment for me with Maple Story is that it's old school 2d. I'll give this a shot, but I'm such a sucker for 2D.

They only have 1 server up with only 1 of 12 channles open on the server so you can't even log in right now.

Spam enter and you get in. Fun game so far, rogues and archers own single targets low level is seems. I am enjoying my mage but need a respec and a few of my skills I picked are pretty useless.

I haven't played I'm looking for something new to spend a little time with, debating between Maple Story, Atlantica and this, any suggestion?

How are the controls? Looks like it might be a game better played with a control pad.

Are there items you find for your char? Also, how do you get an activation key? Have to go through Fileplanet?

Yeah there is a lot of gear to find. The first mission takes about 3-5 min to run. At the end you get 1-4 items depending on teh grade you earned. Also items from quests, random drops etc.

So far its been pretty fun.

Cool looks like something to play casually now and then. I just can't log in right now, keep getting server full, tried for 30 minutes.

Pretty annoying that they did a preview event with only one channel on one server. The game is actually pretty fun, too bad getting online is a huge pain in the ass.

I'm really digging this game. I just found an [Artifact] claw for my Thief, +20% CRIT dmg amongst other stats. It's pretty crazy.
