I mean, I wish them well and all, but come on. This is going to suck.

+11 Internets | Mages didn't need lures, they were too busy making a pathway of mod rods. Enchanters were just 2 boxed for buffs + tash. Necros didn't have problems since they used disease/poison. I don't really remember what druids did. |

| You could argue a lot of dots from necromancers were also "lures" in regards to their resist check. I'm not sure on mages though, either way this is a fucking stupid conversation. Last edited by Golbez; 04-15-2009 at 04:14 PM.. |

| Either sacrificed or healed until they ran out of mana, at which point they were sacrificed.

| There's option 'C' as well, James: it might be in development until we're all collecting Social Security. That being said, the prospect of a low population doesn't strike me as automatically bad. Several of Everquest's worst problems surfaced when things got too crowded. The folks who lived for guild competition wouldn't like it much, though. Danth |

| Well for the population argument there were like 4k registered users on the forums, and some pretty large raid guilds were already formed (not sure why since it still had like another year we knew for sure in development). As for development, the coders are pretty damn good at what they do from when I tested in the alpha phase for a little while, they have already fixed things like boats that actually work which I'm not sure do they even work currently on EQ? or are there still translocaters. Don't get me wrong, the current emu servers out there are total shit for the most part where every Tom and Joe can summon "Sword of so-and-so pwnage" which holds your attention for maybe like 30 mins before you quit, which is why the whole emu term gives anything an instant bad reputation, but I think the time and care and the fact this thing was built from the ground up over the past 2 years already really will set this thing apart from the rest. Maybe spending 5 hours to get 1 level and die and lose 2 hours of work isn't your thing but that was classic at its finest.

| If the server isn't hosted in the US, there really isn't anything Sony can do. I think this is how Shards of Dalaya has gone on for so long.. the server is in Canada I believe. Of course, there is always the possibility that I'm completely wrong. |
