| I like the fact that the Naaru are enigmatic. I only hope that they play some more major roles later and truly display their power. What I don't like are how ever boss lately is 'corrupt' or 'controlled' or 'insane'. There hasn't been a good BAD guy for a long time. The old gods don't even count because so far they've been immobile piles of drained goo, they're not very 'dangerous' in the classical come-to-your-house-and-kill-your-family villain sense. |

+166 Internets | I imagine after we deal with Arthas and some more of the problems on Azeroth (emerald dream/maelstomm) we'll turn our attention to Xoroth. If we take the fight to the Burning Legion itself I could see a return of the Naaru and even the Ethereals. Could even set us up for later space expansions like going to K'aresh and fighting the Void there or going to Argus. Any time they feel like bringing us back to Azeroth there's still Elemental Lords remaining, Deathwing is still alive. Fuck, we've killed two old gods so far and the Titans were unwilling to do so for fear of harming Azeroth so they can make up some great catastrophe that we have to come back and avert. Tons of inevitable troll raids as well. |

+38 Internets | Its kind of a shame though, the whole Algalon thing could have made for some epic phasing. Azeroth gets wind that the titans are coming back to 'clean house'. Riots in stormwind, massive evacuation to outland, empty burning cities. But alas, twas not to be. |

Blizzard: So you bitch about content being too easy? Well we'll make an encounter that will rape you! Player with functioning brain cells: Good, WoTLK has been a total joke and devoid of any content we enjoy. Blizzard: Enjoying our content, we can fix that! Put a time limit so they can only do it for an hour a week!

+30 Internets | Well, this is probably a stretch, but maybe that's part of the reason for the lockout. He is just too epic. In which case it wouldn't be surprising if he doesn't actually die when "killed". Perhaps just retreat and laugh with some lame quip about some shit while he stuns you all and forces you to listen. Accidentally dropping random space loot in the process of course....or what the hell, while you are at it...no loot. If anyone can pull that off its Blizzard with their top of the world status right now. Maybe give the raid a quest to turn in upon completing the encounter for a nice reward and a title. It would be interesting to see how many people still went and killed him and how many repeats anyone ever did after the first kill or two. Last edited by Fammaden; 04-22-2009 at 04:32 PM.. |

| Curiously enough, Neltharion was driven mad by the old gods and now that we've killed two (Yogg being his principle tormentor it would seem) it would be deliciously ironic if he turned the Black Dragonflight around and started championing the safety of Azeroth as was his charge. Assuming the titans are at least logically clairvoyant and could figure that putting an aspect underground with old-gods would drive him insane, perhaps they intended his fall and rise back to glory. So I'm guessing either dead already (which would sort of fit, given the name) or else...watching. Maybe he saw all this crap coming down the pipe and decided to offski? v v | ||

There is still the matter of the bronze dragonflight as well which we got a glimpse of in dragonblight with Noz possibly being behind the actions of the infinite flight. It could be that he saw the downfall of Azeroth due to our killing of the old gods and he's been trying to avert the course of history that leads to us eventually going to Northrend in the first place.

Blizzard put in an encounter that was difficult and equalized the playing field so that guilds that have players with TALENT could compete against guilds filled with mediocre players that have BUCKETS OF FREE TIME for world firsts. And you think that this was a bad idea? Clearly you belong to a guild of the latter group of individuals. People with TALENT are typically those with 'braincells' as you mentioned earlier.

| Keep justifying why your guild isn't where you want them to be. How the guilds who put in hard work and kill stuff before you, only do so because they have more time. The top guilds have always been the ones who have put in the time. If you think Afterlife, Fires of Heaven, and Legacy of Steel put in any less time than Ensidia or whomever you want to consider the elite atm, you're insane. My guild isn't one of the top in the world anymore (being the server best doesn't really mean much anymore), but that's because we're older and CHOOSE to put less time into the game. The difference between you and I, is that I don't try to screw over the people who want to play at the feverish pace. Tell me how a truly difficult encounter like the Rathe Council would be worse than an artificial hour time limit? Oh that's right, with the first ONLY the best guilds would kill it before 3.2. With the later, the first guilds can bash their skulls against a wall, release the strategies and your inferior guild can still get their epics and epeen.
