| In the old days mobs used to be there to kill you, now they're just speed bumps on your way to quest completion and stealth means very little anymore. When most classes run up, use two abilities and gib a mob, its difficult to justify playing a class that involves stunning, running around a mob, waiting for energy, building combo points, etc. Also, the hybrid argument is valid too especially considering the state of retadins, who can actually function reasonably by walking up to a mob and using a castrandom macro. |

+2 Internets | I agree, Rogues are very valuable right now, especially on Freya +3, the difference between 2 Rogues and 4 Rogues is night and day on that fight, especially if you're replacing Warlocks and Mages. Fuck being a Mage on that fight, at least I get to make up for being shitty on Freya +3 by being totally awesome on Vezax hard mode. |

+5 Internets | Anyone using Smoothping ever have problems with your modem shitting the bed more often? I can't tell if my area has been having outtages lately or smoothping is fucking with me. It happens at least a couple times a day where my modem will start fucking up for a couple minutes or for over an hour. |

| There aren't any rogues right now because for the first 6 months of this expansion, they just flat out sucked. Unless you were at the very top of your game, every single other dps class/spec was outdmging you. Gear resets always hits rogues especially bad, but now with Ulduar gear being pretty damn good, rogues are finally starting to do really good dps again. When ferals get nerfed in 3.2 rogues will most likely be top dmg on every fight out there. |

| I wonder if they'll ever fix the CC issue. From what a buddy of mine told me, CC isn't really needed anymore. Seems like that would take the fun of things... When I get my DK to 80 I'll probably start a Rogue if the guild I join needs one badly enough.

+7 Internets | Somewhere between when TBC was released and the release of WOTLK players found out it was a waste of time to CC mobs and just decided to AOE Tank encounters. I love it, most people do. You'll be hard pressed to find a person that is pro-CC for anything. |

| CC would have been cool if they hadnt been complete fail for like 3 years at giving any other class except mages a reasonable form of it... so instead you arent gonna find many people who want it back cause most of them remember how retarded it was cause it was just another area that required group stacking. |

+6 Internets | No CC gives it kind of a diablo feel which I find kind of fun. The only way CC would be awesome again is if they do an enchanter style class. Which would be awesome for the enchanter. And would suck balls for everyone else. I'm sure everyone remembers the holy trinity. I prefer a more free approach. Sucks when your enchanter isn't online and so you can't really do any grouping. Consider how the average player can't even tank or heal properly. Now imagine a class that's more important than the two of them combined. |

| Sap -> Sheep -> Pull every trash pack, repeating over and over again for the entire instance was NOT fun (see: UBRS.) In 5 mans, CC now exists to be used only to make certain problematic packs easier for certain group setups, or for clutch situations on accidental pulls. Instances actually feel well paced now. Maybe now that instances move along at a decent rate they can start putting back in slightly longer ones.

| Yes. I wouldn't suggest every pack be like original heroic Shattered Halls, but having some tough packs mixed in with some AEable stuff would provide changes of pace and allow people to hone their skills in different aspects, instead of just being the mage who can't sheep a bright green triangle but instead Blizzards everything.

| No Vardisk, but for my guild I'm usually fighting for the top spot with a Fury Warrior and Combat/Mutilate Rogue in my guild. Then again I never get Tricks or Hysteria since the Rogues just spread tricks around on themselves and the Fury Warrior whines so much that our Blood DK gives him Hysteria to shut him up. This is on farm content only though, on content we are still learning they become more sensible and I easily top the meter on any non-gimmic fight. |
