Surely, please tell me, SURELY there's no-one out there that would actually throw money at this? They just added pets to Figureprints... As in make one of your companion pets. Is the main headline on the launcher in Europe.

General nerf to damage, slight HP reduction (5%?), and some other things? I dunno. I'm sure there will be an exact list somewhere.

We did Firefighter in 10 man tonight (we'd killed pre-nerf). We brought 3 new people to "train" them to get ready for big boy 25 man, and there was a drop in overall HP, less damage output from phase 2 spurts and fires, but the biggest thing was the 10 man bots in p3/p4 no longer silence. I've heard they still silence in 25, but in 10 they definitely do not anymore.

Even with three people who had never seen hard mode, we one shot it. It's much easier now.

It's a complete slap in the face with how overboard, and how quickly, they've taken to downtune the Ulduar hardmodes. I thought there was supposed to be a gap between normal and hardmode? Guess not.

All I can say is I'm happy I have my H:GOTUR completed, with Mimiron down in particular, before these hatchet job nerfs. Not entirely unexpected, I guess, but excessive and too soon, in my opinion.

I think the problem they are facing is that the bigger gap is between "Idiot Raider" and "Semi-Skilled Raider."

the problem is there are basically 3 tiers of raiders;
the ultra hardcore class stacking type(the hard core guilds),
the ones who wish they were those guys but lack time(core that carries a guild),
and the ones who show up to see pretty items(the ones being carried).

this just made mimiron hard accessible to the middle tier. you still have to contend with yogg/freya though.

25 man hard mode is quite hard, even post nerf. And thats fine, its a special achievement and only a few dozen guild worldwides have completed it. I don't really see an explosion of guilds getting it until more nerfs, after all only 129 guilds have done 25 man freya+3 and only 77 have done 25 yogg+1.

The problem however is that 10 man hard mode is a bit of a joke when you bring in 25 man geared people. Sure they have the achievement to do alganon with 226 or below gear, but the rest of the hardmodes don't have any such restriction. It would be awkward and pretty cruel to force you to have 219 or 226 max gear to get the 10 man protodrake achieves, but without that restriction its not that difficult. But I guess thats ok, the 10 man drake is the "decent raider" achieve, the 25 man drake is the "you are really good!" achieve.

Yep, that sounds about right. Although, honestly Freya3 doesn't feel that bad either... just hope my guild actually gets the attendance this week to work on it (Fuck Summer.)

It's fun trying to get Kologarn down with 2 80 DK's in the raid doing 1600 dps. And by fun I mean soul-destroying, since if we kicked them we'd have 0 dps due to having barely enough to fill a raid anymore.

Last night one of our officers told me "not all classes will ever reach 3500 dps you know" after I complained of low raid dps. Yep. This is the same guy who wasn't hit capped, wasn't using insect swarm as a Boomkin until I PM'd him and still doesn't take advantage of Eclipse. Also one of our healers couldn't believe that Mongoose wasn't the weapon enchant of choice for tanks anymore.

Then we couldn't do 2 drake, 1 drake, or even no drake OS.

What happened to the prepared good raiders I knew from vanilla?

Seriously- Blood Draining is shit. Isn't the other Ulduar Tanking Enchant half decent at least? I haven't spent a brain cycle on it due to it being 100% useless for my class.

Least Theorycrafter's aren't starting to say Mongoose is still your best DPS Enchant too....
