+42 Internets | Ugh, now I'm gonna have to run Ulduar10 for loot, was planning to just stop running it when I'd get my YS trinket(or before). More than that, I'm gonna have to do hardmodes even though I'm pretty much the tank for the "B" group, also known as "we have to take the high attendance retards in" group. That or I get World Carver from Ignis then I don't need a weapon, and bam, problem solved. |

+87 Internets | Healing the steelbreaker tank when doing him last is one of those thankless healer jobs. If you don't dispell him within 1.2seconds every time about 60 times, the tank dies. Somewhat easy job done a bazillion times with disastrous consequences heh. |

On Iron Council if you have a ret or shadow priest make them be the dispel bitch, frees up GCD's for healers.

We farmed naxx no problem with me (disc priest) and a resto druid. Now that Ulduar has come out our decently geared druid has switched to an arms warrior, and a friend has taken over a very undergeared resto druid for healing (1600sp, 8% crit, 136 hit! lol) So far we've done fine on Razorscale, Ignis, and XT with just the two of us healing. However, on iron council and Kologarn we just aren't able to keep up with the damage and have to have our elemental shaman switch to resto (which of course seems to turn the encounters from hard mode to easy mode instantly). My question for you all is, seeing as how our second healer is so undergeared, can we expect to clear Ulduar eventually with just 2 healers? Clearly on fights like Kologarn and even iron council we'll see a drop in raid damage as they just learn to play, but should we expect to reach a gear level that will make 2 healers a standard setup? | |

+42 Internets | I'll go with Zehn advice, but with a twist, buy that dual spec and go holy/disc. Disc is excelent on some fights(Vesax comes to mind, shit is insane there for double healer) but you want to be holy if you're gonna 2heal some of the fights in there due to the constant raid dmg. Another solution would be to have one of your DPS respec heal when needed, there's a few fights where 3healers isn't really luxury. About the dispel on Steelbreaker, we've been using a warlock felhunter. I'm unsure if he auto eats the debuff after fusion punch or if our warlock is like inside the matrix, but the shit is never up pretty much. And then since we do easy mode/semi easy, he sticks the pet on Runemaster for shield dispels, those are auto for sure the shields don't even show up. Dispels can fail randomly though, think it's 1%, and it fucking blows. Blizzard added that some time ago and it's the fucking worst idea ever. Planning to go Unholy tanking this reset for fun and to get used to it again since I think Steelbreaker is gonna be next on our list of shit to do and I guess I'll be tanking. Just need to finish running a couple of instances for my lock on my DK as blood, can solo all of this crap makes for rather solid xp doing quests in a group that don't suck(aka me alone and maybe a couple of random DPS to make it faster). And probably dropping blood altogether, I think I'll go Tank/DPS dual spec, so need unholy or frost as tanking spec for AE situations, probably frost cause it's like much better mitigation. Gotta give blizzard one thing, having 3specs for DPS and 3specs for tanking makes things interesting at least, and they somehow managed to balance them quite nicely. |
