| Making it 1k and level 40 works. For experienced players (read: alts) it lets them have a pvp and/or solo and/or group spec while leveling, but it makes it prohibitive to brand new players who probably will just be overwhelmed and confused with it.

| WoW -> Realm Status saying select servers are going online right now, but alas that site is never accurate. |

| I'm starting to wonder if having an encounter like flame leviathon as the first one in ulduar was such a great idea... I mean every guild on the server will be in Ulduar(even if they arn't Prepared(TM)) causing a massive amount of lag during the faceroll trash. Having something more simple to weed out some of the "bads" would reduce instance server lag a lot.... Although its probably to late for this type of thinking |

| Eh its getting close to prime time for est servers so If they keep up the "check back in an hour so we can tell you to check back in an hour" stuff up, the lag might not be too bad if your guild decides to raid tonight. |

| Well, the vehicle stats do scale with your items' iLevel but the ezmode of most of the early encounters in Ulduar isn't going to slow down too many raids anyhow. FL is just a specific example of it being even easier for the somewhat undergeared crowd I guess. Sadly, the harder modes are definitely lag-sensitive. The 'new' paradigm simply is that everyone who can scrape together 10 or 25 people gets to see the fights. They might never get the achievements nor defeat the hard versions but damned right they will get to kill all the badasses soon enough.

He's already pretty pissed. Notice he doesn't use Jaina's services anymore for magecraft. He has his own mage. After being betrayed on the field of battle by his aide, yeah, he's none too happy with her. I suspect only the fact that she's pretty powerful saves her; if I were in Varian's shoes, the SI7 would probably have already a team of assassins dispatched to take care of "unreliable elements" discreetly. (OOC: Note that Blizzard always said that lore and story are built to serve gameplay, and not the reverse. They want more pvp and horde-alliance conflict? The hotheads ownz the stage and the peaceniks get sidelined) | |
