+25 Internets | I have to say that the mmo this most reminds me of is Vanguard. Obviously being set in the desert, there was always going to be too much brown! Seriously though, seems that crafting will be far more required then it should be, and without a nice streamline system that makes it easy to do. Like having a million and one things that might be useful, but who the fuck knows if they are, and most like most aren't except that 1 thing that you vendored with all that other crap that is worth a fortune. |

| I just got my beta invite, started downloading the client on my laptop because well, after months and months they still haven`t fixed the windows 7 downloader problem but i`m getting 50-70 kb / sec making the ETA at about 40 hours So if anyone would be kind enough to either provide me with a mirror / ftp with the gameinstall or I can provide a ftp where to upload it, please let me know by PM. edit : so i decided to go through the all crap required to install a windows xp virtual machine on my home computer just to be able to download this, and I`m getting 4-5 mb/sec from home compared to the 50-70 kb / sec I was getting from work and I should be online as soon as I get off work. So now the question is : who plays what race/class and where (if there are more than one servers). Last edited by gogusrl; 06-09-2009 at 06:35 AM.. |

| It seems that the Fallen Earth stress test is available to anyone with a FilePlanet account. You don't have to be a paid subscriber, anyone with the account can get a key and download. I'm waiting in the queue to download it now, just wondering if anyone has given this a shot? Is it crap? I guess I'll find out soon enough, but I was just curious of initial impressions. |

+6 Internets | This. At least that was my experience a couple of months ago. One day was enough for me. There would have to be a pretty huge overhaul of just about everything to make me pick up this game. I loved the ideas behind it, like just about everyone else, but the execution is poor. It looks like shit, runs like shit, and is just never going to be the caliber of game we've gotten used to. |

| The game is boring as shit. That is all you need to know. No amount if patching can ever fix that. Edit: I have been in since alpha and I log in every few weeks to see if anything has changed...nothing has. With the exception of a complete overhaul, which is unlikely at this point, I can't see this thing existing except as a very low pop niche game. Last edited by jsspam; 06-27-2009 at 01:43 PM.. |
