So anyway, for such a small server, there is so much drama. It's interesting to watch from the outside of course.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Ascendancy starts raiding - I have a feeling that some of the ententes between the current big 3 will end up going out the window.

Sign me up for Ascendancy. I'm fond of being in the hated guild on the server.

What guild "B"? The server has been up for years, and no one has even attempted Fennin Ro yet. There is no guild "B." They're all shit, apparently, or just don't have enough people. Probably a little from each column.

Did Laedrun and everyone get to 65 yet? I quit a couple of weeks ago and have no urge to come back. There's my yearly "try EQ in some form for a week and quit."

Yeah. I think that's a real possibility at this point.

Bristlebane: You've been out of it too long. Guild b could very well end up being Ascendancy given their growth and anticipated raiding schedule. They're almost at critical mass. They went from 0 to 4th largest guild in like 5 days?

I on the other hand will watch the mayhem from the original plane of mischief while I have a beer or two with your namesake.

From what Temerity has told me, its a matter of people. These were 72 man raids originally and no guild can field 72 currently.

I sure wish I could make up my mind on what to play =/ Got 2 accounts and still cant decide.

And no hard cap, I think we brought 90ish to our first RZtW kill (back in the day.)
The projection only gives out 72 flags, though.

Also, I would not be surprised at all if, judging by when the last patch was, the Rathe Council on this server is the 'assrape impossible cockblock' version. Either that or the 2nd/3rd phases of PoTimeB are going to be all kinds of screwy.

Or I could be wrong and just having sour grapes because I know I don't have time to level up a character to 65 and get enough AA to be a viable raider anytime soon ...

Considering i dont think they have even done fenin, I dont think you have much to worry about. They were having server first kills on some of the mini named in powater last week.

getting to 65 is pretty quick
aa's are also pretty quick

and you dont need a ton of them to be a viable raider, just like the republicans they will take you as soon as your 65

How quick is real quick though? Hours wise.. I've been thinking about coming back to the game because I loved it so much... 7 (?) years ago. I know the nostalgia won't be the same but I would love to come back.

For some god awful reason I still remember every map/zone and landmark. I can't remember what happened last week but I still remember E. RO, Lavastorm, EC, etc.. Damn..

Stick to the high ZEM zones and group (still good but I'd start asap) and you can get to 50 pretty quickly -- 3-4 weeks if you're even moderately dedicated (I'm at 44 after a month and I almost never play during the week). Still a bit of a grind 50-65 - The guys above all started around teh end of March, beginning of May, play pretty regularly. So month and a half? Of solid but not hardcore play.
