Is anyone dual boxing and has anyone tried some automation by using applescript to read your log file and send commands to the other instance? I don't even know if this is possible. I'm just spitballing.

Edit: Druid / Wiz combo for boxing? Good / bad? I figure I'll get snare early and can just run around and nuke plus druids get heals and AOE for quad kiting.

Most of the logitech mice are for righties so they don't have the back/forward buttons on the left side.
As I myself am a lefty; Learn to use the mouse properly, fuckhead.

Fuck that. Learn to embrace your difference, not conform like everyone else.

Still didn't answer my question.

Have been looking at -
Razer Pro Click
or
Mighty Mouse

Also - Amazon.com: Razer DeathAdder Mac 3G Gaming Mouse: Electronics

(couldn't get the link to work like the others)

The mighty mouse sucks don't get it. The way right click works is just straight up retarded. There is some sort of conductivity test(or the like) to determine which button you are clicking. So i think if your left finger is resting and you right click it left clicks or something like that. It just sucks.

Eh. I just use my Dell optical mouse with my Mac. Steve Jobs' single greatest failure is his undying endorsement of one-button mice (the Lisa wasn't really his baby IIRC and NeXT led to MacOS X, the only other failure I can think of was the Apple III -- but that's not in the same ballpark as the fail that is the one-button mouse).

I've always had a mouse that has buttons on both sides so either left or right can use it. The only difference now is that it's harder to find a good mouse that works on a mac. My PCs mouse doesn't work on my mac. (it works in the sense that i can move the cursor, but i cannot change the sensitivity past the default, and i cannot enable the side buttons)

Steermouse.

Great little program for mice, doesn't matter what kind. Should help you accomplish anything you want with your mouse. It's not free but there is a trial. Cheap enough though, worth every penny if you use a Mac alot.

The trackpad on the newest Macbook Pro is the absolute worst thing on the planet, indeed. It's unusable as far as I'm concerned. I learned the trackpad 2 years ago when I switched to Apple, it was difficult, but doable. The new trackpad is worthless.

As I was telling people weeks ago with a few mouse problems, you can get free steermouse if you find the torrent or do some google searches.

The trackpad on my mbp isn't terrible. I mean, trackpads in general suck, so you can't get much worse then they already are.

Is it the new glass one? Because the new glass one is a piece of shit. No matter what you do you will misclick shit about 1 and 4 clicks unless you strain yourself not to. It's equivalent to forcing yourself not to blink.

The one that the entire pad is a button?

~edit - i messed around with steermouse and it rocks, but i still have a slight lag issue with my mouse in eq, any way to make it a little smoother? Or is this how eq always is?

Still having trouble deciding what to play. Rogue, Sk, Cleric, or Wizard. All are going to be rough to level.

Rogue would probably be the toughest to level.

But really, you can pretty much never exp without buffs, so it's not too bad for a long while. If you care about class population, Rogues are probably the least populated with Wizzies and SKs about even and then surprisingly there are quite a few Clerics around (although you can never have too many).
