The new memory optimization options are awesome. I'm amazed they got it right in one (sorry one+ one emergency patch). I can now load 4 EQ's without a single problem on my 2008 Macbook Pro. I zone 10x faster and everything looks the same.

About damn time. I bet they gain some revenue too, more people will box since the game runs so much better.

Definitely liking it as well. I only box 2 characters but it's much much better.

I'm amazed there's still max /who all 51/52/53, etc up to like 68 at 2:00am est, albeit on a weekend. I'm glad the life hasn't started to fall out of the server yet. Hope it lasts long enough for me to hit my 1000th afk aa so I can start leveling to 85!

do the recent expansions still use that idiot power source crap for your gear not to suck? I fucking hate item decay and similar stupid plat sinks. You'd think potions would be enough of a plat sink for em but noooooo. >;p

Powersources were never items that made your "gear not suck". They simply enhanced it by a small amount. It's nothing to freak out about or worry about and they decay so slowly I can't see how they could be considered a plat sink, if you think powersources are a plat sink then so are food/water. Mercs are a plat sink, but they are a legit one and you can make more plat back then you lose if you use them right.

I can't say I'm a big fan of power sources, they are a minor benefit and yes they are a minor platsink as well. On average they cost, 1500pp per, and they last maybe 12 hours of grinding max. They're decent for boosting your eqplayers profile and possibly raiding, but that's about it.

They had a goal and wanted to complete it. I was just suprised that as the time rolled past 1am EST more people didn't log off. We still had like 45 or so people in the raid come GGG that didn't start until quite late.

Ham will be back. He doesn't want to make us sad.

Yeah I'm sure Legacy of Destruction will prove to be incredibly competent even though they are made up entirely of Tranquility leftovers and MT rejects. You'd probably be better off deleveling to 65 and joining Addiction.
