| I can't even vote because none of those options appeal to me. I was planning on returning to EQ for this next server too, but not after reading those options. I would have gone back for: PVP + Progression EQ Classic (Old UI, Models, Skeletons, Spell Effects, etc. Basically what that one group was trying to do before they got shut down) |

+58 Internets | The amount of love the 51/50 server is getting is astounding. Clearly it has to be players who haven't touched the game in years, right? Who don't realize how effortless that task is and how meaningless it would be. I guess it could be good from wanting an plethora of level 85s eventually or something, but with mercenaries active on that server I don't see the point at all. The more I think about it, the more I'm pretty sure the progression is the only one I'd try. A 3 boxer in PVP has just become incredibly powerful with the addition of having 3 healing mercenaries around with them at all times. That server would be chaotic |

| I'm not trying to shit all on the people here voting for it, but let me please echo what's been said about the 51/50 server. If you vote for this, you are voting for a normal blue server. Don't make any mistake about it. You can earn dozens of levels an hour. You can be 51/50 in a single day of playing. One day. Now, is 51/50 bad? I suppose there's a good argument for 51/50 being better than 1/0 as far as normal blue servers went - why make people waste that day - but just PLEASE bear this all in mind, you guys with station passes or something of that sort who decide to go vote. Personally, I don't want a normal combine rules server. I want frogloks and berserkers from the start, not some stupid nostalgic-attempt illusions. I want a better progression server with more options at the start, longer timelocks, and none of the god awful gms the last one had. |

+58 Internets | Pretty much what yermum wants. I'd love to make an iksar beastlord from day 1 and wouldn't mind the lock. I've been wanting to do mage/bst from the start, but if they just copy/paste the old combine server then that's out the window. I really don't know why they can't put an hours worth of effort into gathering data for a proper poll. And yeah I guess a 51/50 server might be better than a 1/0 server when it comes down to making a new one if you think about it. But what's the point of either really? FIRST NAGAFEN KILL DAY 1, 3 level 51 players (the first three to run to solb) with their own healing mercenaries! Is that something someone wants to brag about? If we time lock in a reasonable way hopefully some epeen can be removed at the same time |

| Thats a horrible idea, I'm sorry. I know SO many people who left combine for other servers. If you make it fv ruleset, you lock the server to fv, giving one option only for transfer off and forcing anyone who wants to play to stay there. If a server isn't doing well, the solution is to make the server better by addressing it directly, not trapping helpless subs into being dumped there as their only option off progression. We all know there are plenty of people who will come back and quit either when luclin or gates open, or whenever their resident guild or group of friends quit, why slash their potential to continue playing, later, somewhere else with old friends using that character? |
