+3 Internets | Most likely because with today's mindset of MMO'ers, everyone would RUSH straight for 60, only a few guilds would form to down content ASAP, and everyone would be bored in less than a few months. EDIT- Oh and of course lack of profit due to lack of interest after a matter of mere months or less. |

| The reason that they give is that they don't have the code for it. They would have to devote resources to re-code all of the old school zones/spells/classes etc, and they aren't willing to devote the manpower to do it. And even though I would love such a server, I don't really blame them. |

| The first five expansions pretty much wouldn't have mattered regardless if you start at level one with nothing. The only thing they're needed for is a few hours of leveling. The only way old expansions matter in EQ is if you're forced to stay within them, i.e. another progression server. |

| Attuneable means it's tradeable until someone equips it. The infusible and purity has something or other to do with the power source system, but I never played enough in the later years to really know what it all meant. Some items give you greater stats or some shit if you have a power source equipped. Someone can explain it better than me. |

+56 Internets | Infusible means you recieve Item Stat Bonuses from your Power Source on this item. Different Power Sources generate different statistical bonuses and penalties on gear with "Infusible." Purity is a scalar on how much of the bonus/penalty is applied. Magical Make-em-up Example: Godstone of Fuckwin provides +50hp, +10STR, and -10INT to each piece of Infusible gear. Your Pants of Pantsening have a Purity of 50, so they only recieve 50% of the Power Source's modifiers. So when you equip your Godstone of Fuckwin, your Pants get +25HP, +5STR, -5INT. Also, Power Sources slowly decay while in use. It takes quite a while for them to run out. Power Sources are their own item type with their own Inventory Slot, and they can be Crafted.

| In honor of Independence Day and the opening of the Mayong (51/50) Server, EverQuest adventurers will be surrounded by a magical experience increase from around 11:00 a.m. PDT on Thursday, July 2nd until around 9:00 a.m. PDT on Monday, July 6th. Those nasty mobs will be worth an extra 51% experience points (on all servers!) through the holiday weekend. Happy adventuring! Let the grindage commence. |
