| Since we're talking about Bards and there are a lot of Bards in here, would you have rather instruments be disallowed in combat (and possibly auto-equipped) and then had your combat effectiveness balanced accordingly? That "trade-off" decision seemed very difficult to make, and in the case where you did decide the instrument was more powerful than the sword, it seemed to create a very boring gameplay environment. I never played a Bard, but would love to hear some people's thoughts on that issue. |

+4 Internets | I remember playing my Necro alt and even after picking up the Epic, I never used the clicky. It was 9 seconds to cast rendering it pretty much useless for fear kiting, etc. I know pretty much all necros used the low level snare because it casted so damn quick and lasted just as long as the high level versions. It wasnt about the dot dmg, it was all about getting that quick snare off for fleeing mobs or kiting.
