Pretty valid consideration. Both have horrible PvP balance, and both have a huge lack of endgame content at the moment.

As nice as it is to get some content updates (especially in RvR), I do not look forward to having yet another class ripping my WP to shreds when I need to be in melee to heal the best. If the Warrior Priest isn't the most under-powered class in the game, it certainly has the biggest power gap between it's enemy mirror (the DoK).

It's an unreal expectation to think people would look at WoW objectively while they are still nibbling on Blizzard's collective nutsack.

Too small a carrot to dangle for anyone serious about pvp to come back for. The pvp, rvr, whatever you want to call it in WAR is a fucking joke, and will continue to be one till at least the darkness falls clone is released. With how shitty WAR's pve is tho, that content will probably mean jack shit.

Guess the subs were diving hard again, only reason they're dangling the "OMG 2 NEW CLASSES FOR YOU FREE!" shit, cause it worked with the knight and blackguard.

Don't want to get into another wow v. war thread, but..

Wow is a pve game, and was marketed as a pve game, so at least its players have something to fall back on. I agree with your second point, though. I was talking more in the lines of major core issues with war , not pvp issues, more like class issues and keep issues.

At least wow's classes are balanced in pve for the most part. Just about every spec is valid in the pve setting.

Isn't that what Land of the Dead is? The DF style dungeon? Thats how I read it anyways.

To bad its JUNE for a release, that should be out the door ASAP honestly.

That's what I said, it will continue to be crap at least till the DF content is released, which is June :lol:. You can easily see what they're doing, since if they just held that aspect till june no one would come back. Toss in a few classes that will muddy an already fucked up class balance relationship and you sucker in some more people for a couple months. Then they realize the game is just as shitty at T4 with a new class as it was with an old one, and they cancel.

Rinse, repeat so far, hopefully they can change that in June but I doubt it.

You guys are such cry tits. They announced these classes as they were classes missing in the game and did this to show they finished it to get in, especially seeing as they are popular amongst players. The content for DF 2.0 is great because DF was an amazing zone to fight for control of in DAOC. They aren't going to mention class changes and balances when they just wanted to make a quick and simple announcement. They have stated they are changing mechanics around but every time something is announced and you cry shit that they didn't mention "We're adding RvR Heaven to the game. Oh by the way, Warrior Priests will regenerate larger heals by 4%."

Uh, what are you smoking? WP's are phenomenal. There's zero reason to roll anything but a WP right now on order if you want to heal. Our WP's blow everyone out of the water in healing if they decide to "heal the best," and they certainly don't need to be in melee to do it.

There's arguably no reason not to roll a WP for melee DPS, unless you want to be an Ironbreaker. WL's are only useful for fetch and WH are basically awful outside of 1v1 unless they're guardbotted with heavy healing.
