[WoW]WotLK

No longer in beta, thought it might be time to start up a new thread.

The 24 hour Wal-Mart near my place had about 100 people, with the GS about 2 miles away with about 75. Not bad for a smaller town I'd say.

Yeah the GS in town had over 100 in line, we're pretty small as well. Line wrapped around the building. So many horde bitches =p

Currently waiting on some dumb patch to download, of course it's taking forever with the slow rates we always get.

I was hoping for the cinematic to be expanded from the one Blizzard had posted on their site, but oh well.

Wrath

Gamestop had about 20 people with plenty of extra copies and one broken CC machine. Walmart (same parking lot) had 4 people with 6 cases of wrath

Chain pull some 5 Hour Energy drinks while shooting up heated pixi-sticks.

Or an 8-ball and multiple 2 liters of Mt. Dew.

Neither of which are doctor recommended.

I just have a good supply of mt. dew and the drive to survive! once in awhile I'll have to step out into the cold night air to wake up I'm sure, that always works.

I went to the walmart here (Christiansburg, VA) and I was overhearing a couple of people talking, and one of the guys said he was in the FoH guild. Wonder if he browses the forums...

Couple years ago when Molten Core was the big thing, I heard a fat guy bragging in a local EB that he was in Afterlife. Asked him a few questions he couldn't answer and he got real red in the face, was pretty funny.

Anyways, screw the unwashed masses, I'm downloading it from Blizz and will venture out to a Futureshop or something tomorrow for a key that I should have been able to buy direct from Blizzard. Fuck you brick and mortar retailers, fuck you but good.

Meth.

Man, I remember when TBC came out, the new areas were practically unplayable. It's going to be even crazier this time around. I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Gamestop i went to was packed probably 150 people. Whole bunch of freaks.

It was great seeing some younger (mid teens) kids there with their parents. The parents looked bewildered by the crowd.

I got so many weird looks for being there with a female. (Went out on a date dinner and a movie, and the movie got out at 11:30 so we drove right over to the GS.)

As for staying up. 16oz redbull, had a cup of coffee little while ago, and lots of pot.

My girlfriend got the "wtf, you play wow?" bullshit at least 5-6 times tonight, and we were only in line for about an hour. 300people probably at eb south of toronto. The walmart had zero, don't even know if they opened for it.

Walked right past the huge lineup outside the Best Buy, that probably had about 150-200 people in line, went into a local pub, ate dinner and watched the hockey game. Walked out at 11:50, stood in line for about half an hour and snagged a CE. Last one, too, much to the purely retarded nerd rage from this fat cow who was behind me in line.

No pre-order, no nothing.

There was also some dude dressed up as Arthas, in full Lich King regalia. Made it hard to tell people who were asking what we were standing in line for was 'Oregon Trail Online.'

Also, some beastly woman dressed up as Kil'Jaeden.

Lots of cute girls there, too, sans boyfriends. Unless the BFs were the real smart ones and got their girls to stand in the cold for them.

Curious if anyone has had the boat crash on them at all yet. It HAS to happen.
