is Eyonix right when he says that there was a time that you could only gate with hearth? I seem to remember always being able to gate with some other way. Then again maybe I just didn't care enough when leveling and only bothered to care after being 60 for a while and finding out about the unstuck gate (i dont remember when instance hearthing was put in)

hehe i remenber the unstuck command would first try to burn your hearth if you had it.

Gotta love the death gate spell for DKs, every class should have something like that on top of the hearth.

I can go from Moonglade to Stormwind in about ~10 minutes if not less. Depending on how long I have to wait on the boat :s.

It's just about a 7-8 minute flight to UC as well. I fucking hate that shit. I want to drop a brick on someone's head for the lore bullshit behind having a single location for trainers.

I know Druids had it bad. Coming back to TB or Moonglade sucked balls, but this is just that much worse since if you want to check out the AH while you head back to pick up new talents while leveling, you get to go make a sammich in the meantime.

sort of, stuck command but it was really really questionable if it would work right.

ghetto hearthing didn't matter early on because there were only 2 places you would be once you hit 60, BRM or your town's major city(later on silithis too sort of). when they seperated the major hubs with BC they forced you into major cities to do most of your trading, but never gave you a way back, so that's when ghetto hearthing shined. at this point it's just lazy design that there isn't some sort of portal connecting the major cities and expansion hub zones, even if you have you have to pay an "entry" fee to get access.

what physical ranged attack do druids have?

Owlkin Frenzy is triggered when you are hit by physical ranged / physical attacks, not when you use them yourself.
