Anyone else who can comment? With some of the new wrath top teir holy talents I think disc just comes up kinda short handed.
My main is a priest, I healed all heroics solo and all the 10 mans except malygos as disc. I found it perfectly fine, I actually prefer the 6.5khp pws for a lot of encounters. I think too many disc priests itemized heavy +crit for Aegis, which while Aegis is nice, it does not warrant that amount of +crit. I went heavy int, spirit, spell power, and just became a regen nut. Having over 1k int and 1k spirit self buffed, something like 1900+spell power and only 10% crit.

Disc is amazing for things like patchwerk, loatheb, sartharion drakes (the priest that stays outside of the portals) and the like. However as mentioned, it fails at Sapphiron or Malygos.

Don't be one of these retards on the forums that stacks nothing but +crit and haste and goes oom in 30 seconds.

The old kingdom enrage bitch is also disarmable, it cuts her damage dealt by quite a bit. I did it with a rog in the group, the first enrage I disarm, second enrage the rogue dismantled, and by the third enrage my disarm was up again. I didn't have to blow any defensive cooldowns so if disarm didn't land I could have blown those to live. I also want to say she didn't do the cyclone strike while disarmed but don't quote me on it, I just know the melee dps didn't move out and didn't die.

Blizzard would disagree with you. It was posted that they consider it the hardest heroic boss in the game; he's top of the "most deadly creature" stats day on day; and analysis at EJ concluded that, yes, Halls of Lightning is the hardest heroic.

I'm going to have to disagree. Eregos is definitely the hardest boss by viture of being completely homosexual.

I'm not so sure about that. Remember that Eregos usually doesn't actually kill you, he kills your drake and then you die to fall damage. He only actually attacks players if all drakes are dead, so sometimes he gets the killing blow on the last person alive while they're falling, or if their drakes died over one of the floating ledges and fall damage didn't kill them. That probably skews the numbers a lot.

Another example of this on that list is Sartharion. He looks pretty easy at 22nd on the list, with only 36,832 kills. Of course, that's misleading, because once you add in the deaths to Flame Tsunami, (32,205) Lava Blaze, (25,443) and Shadow Fissure, (20,449) he becomes the second-deadliest boss with 114,929 kills.

and Keristraza is #2 heroic boss, when she's actually simple as fuck. Woah, hit space while fighting her, that's hard. Obviously this statistic is skewed by the 10.9 million retards playing this game.

She hits like a truck when she goes enraged I can see the nubs not reacting too well to it pretty easily.

WTF? Keri is probably one of the easiest bosses in the entire expansion, and definitely is the easiest in the Nexus. Hit space, hit shield wall before she dies, BANG.

The biggest problem in TBC was the color scheme... A lot of light pastel colors, mixed in with "neon" glow effects. Even the lava was a bright, glowing, green....The problem with that is it makes the game feel modern, which sounds assanine, but we associate those colors with technology, as they are completely artificial and are not found very often in nature.
Ok so...

Green isn't found very often in nature. Seriously? You actually re-read that shit?

Also, there is a reason why lava is green in Shadowmoon Valley, because it is leaking from the Hand of Gul'dan, a colossal volcano that was conjured up by Gul'dan using pure demonic energies (as seen in the in-game quest and in the Black Temple cinematic). Other areas have "normal" lava such as the inside of Gruul's Lair, or fiery bursts from Hellfire Peninsula's crust.

In WoW, green shouldn't be associated with technology, no matter how retarded you are. It's the color for all things fel and demonic. Blood Elves have green eyes because they consume demonic magic, most Demons have green blood because their system is saturated with fel energies, etc.. never wondered why the Pit Lords have a green fiery mane? That's why.

did you go inside tempest keep? because it looks nothing whatsoever like a "floating castle". it's either a spaceship or a dance club.

I think what it comes down to is even when there's an internally consistant reason for it to be the way it is, aesthetically it had features we've always associated with space ships/technology etc. It's not that it's a big building that floats, it's that it looks like everything we've always thought of as a futuristic space vessal, so thats what we associate it with, which is incredibly out of place in the WoW universes and totally clashes with the general atmosphere of the game.

Hell, I've seen movies with space ships that look less like a space shit than tempest keep does.

When did I say it was a floating castle? The Tempest Keep IS a spaceship / dimensional ship, made from crystal by the highly-advanced Naaru. You're the one that called it a floating castle in your previous posts, you really should catch up on your own trollings sir.

As for the context of Burning Crusade clashing some with the usual WoW universe, I agree, although the Outland already existed in Warcraft III. Blizzard said that Burning Crusade was their attempt at adapting "high fantasy" into the World of Warcraft and that they prefer going back to more traditionnal "gothic fantasy", as seen in Northrend.

okay, so now that's we've established it is a spaceship and not floating castle like many have said, what's the highest warp factor it can go, and does it have 2 or 3 photon torpedo bays?
