+39 Internets | QH almost doubles your loading time, and Dalaran is already very long to load. If your computer hasn't loaded the game after like 30secs, wow will automatically disconnect you when you finish loading(no idea why, probably some anticheater system or whatever). That's why you can't login with QH in dalaran I think. You can do it anytime, just launch something CPU or HDD heavy, like a defrag or an avi encode, then launch wow. You'll take forever to load, and even if you're in the asshole of wow with shitty graphics(desolace?), you'll still get disconnected because you'll have taken too long to load. I turned off QH when I hit 80, and I hit 80 before dalaran was crowded, so never really had the issue but one night when I was doing some icecrown shit the lazy way, recalled to dalaran, relogged to fix some raiding addons and couldn't relog. |

+13 Internets | 98% of the quests in WoW are easy as hell to do with just reading the quest text. QH does nothing other than provide directions to areas for people too lazy to read/explore, or even at the very least scan the text for the direction in which to go. Web sites provide the only information you should really need if you're needing help, which is about what to expect from the encounters. That mod that pulls up the WoWhead page for your quests is a better one imo. I wasn't bashing questing mods, if they help you that's awesome, I just prefer not to use them. I mean seriously. I understand it's a crutch for the playerbase now, but there is absolutely no way you can justify it as anything other than laziness when the vast, vast majority of quests tell you exactly what to do, exactly where to go, and the shit sparkles when you get there. Yes, there are a handful of quests that are obscure/poorly worded/confusing. They do not justify this complete and total reliance on a mod to do any quests at all like you guys make it sound. It's as bad as the fucking "Leveling guides." Seriously, you really need a guide to tell you to gather all the quests and run around in a circle before running back to town? It's really hard to argue with the statement that WoW is dumbing down the playerbase when perfectly capable individuals such as most of you on this board are attached at the fucking hip to a mod that directs your every move.

| Simple: I don't want to read mass-produced quest text. It is also quite convenient when you mouseover a mob and it tells you right away whether to kill it or not. Especially in BC when you enter a quest hub and get bombared with a dozen quests at a time it's very useful so you don't forget doing one quest out of 5 when you're in one area. |

What is funny however is people with QH who can't read the damn objectives. Like they kill stuff when they're supposed to use an item and stuff like that.

+39 Internets | Actually it's horrible if you're a DPS, because the fight relies entirely on your tank and healer. And specifically on the tank since the healer only has to follow the tank and keep him healed. I've often duoed the boss from the first nova to death because every DPS was retarded, but the healer was smart enough to follow me closely. |
