| I think the event is going just right. At first it was just a minor joke a fun thing to do but you died fast and it didn't go anywhere. Unless you were makata at which point it was a HORRIBLE TIME WASTING DESTRUCTION OF MY DAY OMGWTFBBQ!!! Then you could just casuall kill the zombies and rarely turned into one if you didn't want to. So you just ignored the infestation. Then things got worse... It got harder to cure the disease and the time it took to be converted decreased. Suddenly there are more zombies about and accidental npc conversions are happening more often but oh well you live. Just kill them if they are near your npc and move on... Then things got worse... Now its starting to be annoying. Now when they hit you the time to convert goes down. It's hard to swath through them like so much dead paper when 6 of them hit you and you instantly convert. Argent healers are getting gang raped in seconds. NPC mobs that come to fight the zombie horde are only providing more bodies for zombies. Towns are tearing themselves up in war against the zombies as a never ending stream of guards -> zombies -> guards -> more zombies over over again. Even paladins have to hit + run + cleanse x5 over and over. It's no longer safe to even stay on the ground anymore. you must fly everywhere. Orgimmar with its myraid array of NPC's and spread openess is under constant infection and re-infection. Things are truly out of control now.... So what's the next stage? I'd say it sounds like a decent fantasy zombie plague spreading scenario. Not the best ever but not bad either.

| yesterday afternoon on Blackrock, all of Booty Bay was zombies. I don't think there was a single NPC left alive except the fishing guy and the card game code redemption goblin. It was hilarious, especially when the shaman with water walking was trying to kill all the zombies from the safety of the water but a bunch of us just puked onto him from above and he became a zombie. |

+166 Internets | Tell you one thing, my priest/paladin/warlock 3box team is ripping the invasion teams a new asshole. Was 13 people + 40 zombies in thrallmar last night. SoC x 3 + a bubble -> holy wrath fucks people up terribad. Between cleanse and cure disease can save guards pretty easily once you break up the zombie horde. I just came to use the inscription trainer. Within 10 minutes I had cleansed the town and was on with my business. Was <3 Also got called a cock goblin. Was so romantic. | I may be in the minority here, but I actually enjoy the involvement of the cleansers, I just hate the whiners. Its all part of the scenario and makes it more fun for me at least. It's an epic struggle between the lvl 70 pally and my lvl 10 banker turned suicide bomber heading for the AH. With only 15 seconds left can he stop me in time? |

+166 Internets | I wonder if the buff gets easier to cleanse as the timer goes low. Doubt it and it's mostly my brain forming non-existant patterns but the number of people I've cleansed with 1~3 seconds left on the debuff is staggering. |

+4 Internets | I'm hoping for -ve faction hits on people who've infected players and NPCs of their own side. It won't happen, but one of things missing from this event is consequences. If you can infect the unwilling, then there should be some comeback. It's like half an event at the moment. |

| My name is Makata. I am a survivor living in Stormwind City. I am broadcasting on all AM frequencies. I will be at the battlemasters everyday at mid-day, when the sun is highest in the sky. If you are out there... If there's anybody out there... anybody... please. You are not alone. |

| Oh man RP cleansing people has got to be the best thing ever invented. I had several lowbies cursing my name for "purging them of the scourge infestation." I even randomly started reporting that "all was well... for now." to the npcs and saluting them and shit. So much fun, and the tears of the retards fed my will to continue my "crusade to cleanse" well into the wee hours of the morning.

| I thought the event was pretty lame and showed how Blizzard has no idea what the player base is capable of. Notice the change to alot of NPC as the event went along. I had fun reverse griefing once I figured out how to stop most invasions by myself. Then I ran into the people in Shatt that were zombies but showed up as players. They could infect the whole town but guards and other players couldn't attack or cleanse them. The other part that sucked was zoning. I went on a zombie raid from Shatt to Org. To bad that everyone got kicked from the server while zoning. It took 2 log ins to get back on my character and everyone was dead at the starting town for Trolls and Orcs. No one loaded into Org as a zombie. |

| I didn't mind the event, as I could ignore or bypass most of the effects...until the end. When the timer dropped, it was impossible to not be affected by the zombies, even if you tried. No worries...I just stayed away from WoW for a day and will appreciate a clean zone tonight ![]() |
