Well there are no Crushing blows anymore so no need to be over an exact number to be able to tank bosses.

That's what I was thinking... but I vaguely remember someone saying that resilience was needed to be uncrittable.

Lol.. actually a buddy of mine did this... whenever he tries to log in he gets a an error and wow crashes... pretty amazing

Maelstrom and Twisting Nether just finally came up for the first time about twenty minutes ago and both are stuck searching for character list.

I'm not one to bitch about downtime a lot, I just prefer to have a clear idea of what to expect. If they'd told us yesterday that servers would be down till midnight or something I would have been like "Ok, let's make some other plans." I just hate sitting around having to check over and over for them to come back up.

Also yes, I'm aware I have no life.

So I got onto Drenden long enough to move my mount and look through my gear and talents. Once I hearth I got booted after opening the mail box. I closed down WoW, saw some Vista updates but then couldn't download them. My desk top no longer connects to the net as the router shows up as local only. I've rebooted my pc and router a few times with no luck but can connect just fine through the same router on my notebook. I have no idea what could have changed that is keeping my desktop from connecting.

In beta if you go to a stable master they give you the option to get a new one. I don't know if it's like that in the patch as I haven't been able to get in yet.

Yeah I don't know when Cho'gall came up, but I either get "character not found" issues or it just doesn't load and I have to force close it. Whatever. Not like I have anything productive to do and the day will end up getting reimbursed.

well I can log in, but nothing works at all. Can't even loot the milled herbs to lvl up inscript -_-

This needed to be shared: YouTube - blizzard is screwing the consumer. Usually nerd rage isn't funny, but this one is pure awesome.

Crushing blows never had anything to do with defense. Crushing blows were prevented by getting 100% avoidance (including block), which was easily done by spamming the Warrior ability Shield Block. Shield Block has been removed, and so have crushing blows.

Defense still does what it always does, reduces your chance to be crit (like resilience) and adding 0.04% chance of block/parry/dodge per point (of Defense skill, not rating).
