Shrug I still think ZA Bear Runs are one hell of an achievement. My guild worked our asses to get it. We got our first bear before stepping foot inside BT/MH, all T5. The uniqueness of the bear really depends on server. I've never seen any pay for it bear runs on Zul'Jin and every bear I do see belongs to someone in a guild capable of running ZA.

Doesn't look even close to the same thing as the in-game raid reward.

Looks like one of the WOTLK bear mounts.

We've been selling bear mounts for 10k for like 4 months now, so to say that the "one crazy dude" might buy it for that is kind of silly. You jumped on the retarded-amounts-of-gold bandwagon way too late.

I am on one of the best Alliance servers though so the fucking things are everywhere. I wouldn't use it if it wasn't for how awesome they look in Shadowform, and the fact that you need actual skill to get one.

But that's the thing, you don't need skill to get one, just gold (or good gear and half a clue). The first wave of bear mounts were a sweet status symbol, just sad to see it end up being kinda pedestrian. Such things are largely unavoidable though.

The problem with bear mounts is that they naturaly come in tens, I don't actually think more than two groups sell them on my server.
My group started a little late, so between the need to get replacements for regular members sometimes and the fact we had only three bears left for four people... well some people went a little nuts and decided that they would rather skip the 75% chance at the mount in exchange for screwing over the poor Warrior who offered to tank for us in place of someone else.

With all the Sunwell guilds hanging around here outside the banks, we have more Bears now than we had in the great Netherdrake plague xD

But yeah I'd kill for a Black Chocobo, although I think that's the point with Black mounts!

honestly i'd buy one if i had 5k to spare. Gold isn't that hard to come by but i spent it on epic flyers for 3 of my guys so im down to maybe 2k.. oh well thats life.

Ugh I really hated the appearance of the ZA bear mount; just a giant ugly bear. I do however really like the TCG bear mount and I busted ass to get the kodo mounts on two of my characters during brewfest.

I've also passed on bear mounts but I would basically kill someone's mother for a ZG tiger mount.

My server sold a ton of these for about 10k a pop; the last two before the patch they had an auction for; starting bid at 10k. They only sold one however and the second was being auctioned continuously in trade chat when I logged off.

I vaguely recall us giving Qiraji resonating crystals to a few lazy scrubs who didn't have *real* epic mounts, who were all excited to run around fast then heartbroken when they left the zone.

That was epic.
