| Well, you would have to go through all the forum threads looking for the good posts. And I'm not going to. But a quick look for. most recent Time line vid. "orcestrated by imperial agents" "just as deadly as their sith superiors" Star Wars: The Old Republic | Timeline Art asset for the next class forum icon: http://www.swtor.com/sites/all/theme...s/forum_76.png A hooded figure holding a sniper rifle. Movie of course showed an Sith twil'lek that acted alot like a smuggler. Evidence for the last 2 being another force class is there as well. But harder to find atm. |

They see a little section of what MIGHT be a rifle, and automatically it's a Sith Sniper? Come on man.

As for the caster style force user, this is from KoTOR. Where you had Guardian, Sentinel and uh..what was the last one? Adept? Anyway, you had your caster, hybrid, melee. There will be probably the caster one here. The Hybrid wasn't really that differentiated enough to warrant a class. Maybe an expansion class. I see HK as a companion. | The preview vid had a fast and really blurry screen cap of a sample script, with dialogue between an npc and the possible res ponces from the player characters. It was super blurry, but you could see all 8 class names. Actually reading the unknown was nearly impossible, but using deduction you could get a good idea. Jedi clearly seemed to be listed twice. One of the names, was very close to Imperial agent. At the time, it couldn't be read clearly, it was just a long name, with a 5 letter word. Sith warrior and jedi knight were clearly readable, prior to their announcement. The other Jedi seemed to be Jedi Master. As odd of a term that would be. Could still be a working name, and they might name it something different for release. If you don't want to put the pieces together, fine don't. Droids are companions/pets. that's been expressly stated. |

Personally, I'm hoping that the "healer" role will be something like the Warrior Priest in WAR, except using Jedi/Sith and "The force" as the mana that builds or some shit like that.

![]() Personally, I would just be happy if they made healing more combat-focused then the typical "Sit back, throw out heals, mana-up, repeat." Not that I'm against healing and usually play healing classes in MMOs, it just doesn't seem Star Wars-y to have a dedicated healing class. I mean, I know they have to bang around the IP some to fit it into the MMO mold, but the only healing I remember was either replacing hacked off limbs with robotic parts or that gigantic tank that Luke was in after that Hoth monster attack. Hm. Maybe that's what SWTOR will do for a healer: the healing class will be a gigantic walking tank of that stuff, kinda of like the Kool Aid man. "Oh yeah! Jump in my magic force water for some heals! Oh yeah!"

+1 Internets | I forget the book (I, Jedi maybe?) but there was mention of specialized Jedi using force power's to heal. I think it was removing some crazy poison from Mon'Mothma, or something along that line. |

+9 Internets | I think I actually read that book because I definitely remember that as well. Some guy poisoned a drink and somebody used their force powers to get the poison out drip by drip. Kind of fucked up that I remember that specific part of that book after not having bought one of those things in ~10 years.

| It's probably not going to happen, but I would love to see the Jedi 'healer' as more of a damage mitigation class. Buff the shit out of your party to prevent damage, and maybe have a HoT or something, along with some of the controlling chthonic-anemos mentioned. The Sith I can see being heal by leeching. Like a shadow priest on crank. Both would fit well with the lore, but would be mechanistically more difficult than casting the spell that summons green numbers over and over again.
