That's been up for going on 12 hours now. That must have been some flood of traffic...

So far all I've been able to do is fill out the account information over and over and over and over...

I was having that looping problem, so I tried crusty old IE, it worked but you can't see the submit button on the system spec page. If you click somewhere in it and hit tab, it will zip down to the submit button.

Worked fine for me with Firefox. Had to do it a few times, kept wigging out after submitting system specs, but worked fine the 4th time.

Took me about 30 minutes or so to get mine done. I didn't try until 12:30 or so, though.

I could not see the submit button either but your tab trick worked like a clock.
Thanks!

I managed to get out of the "fill in your adress" loop by actually going into my account and finish the submission there. When you are in your "my account" page, at the bottom you will notice a field where you can try to submit your system specs again. The "contact info" part is probably checked allready but the "system spec" part needs to be updated.

I managed to finish the updating of the specs there, using Kharza's Tab trick when your specs come up.

Just wedge a penny in that key and try again in the morning.

This technique also works as a poor man's dos attack.

Creating account first, with 'Sign up for Beta' unchecked at first, is definitely the way to go. Just verify e-mail, then you can do the remaining two sections separately (additional information and system scan), and it saves after each is completed.

(This is assuming it still randomly kicks you back to the first screen over and over)

Using Win 7 and IE8, when it gets to the scan, it starts and then pops up a box with CPU, Speed, RAM, Video Card and sound card, but the frame of the window looks like there should be more and doesn't do anything else.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm using Windows 7 as well and have tried scanning in IE and FF, it gets stuck on "scanning in progress..." in both browsers for me.

Use compatibility mode in the browser and it will work.
