Yeah playing around with it, we found a way to get 18people on one side. You just wait a bit when queue pops up, then use the wait a bit, and wait until it's over(auto join scenario at the end of timer). You're ~2mins late, but people can join and fill the slots you left vacant during the queue, so you can end up with 18. Usually less than that though, but highly retarded. Earlier we did Isha with 2RP and 1BW AE spec, and due to afking and shit, we went in late, and it was 15vs12, with our little BW mass AEing the shit of people. It was really ugly to see.

As a side note, Isha is a pretty decent map. It usually ends in a big FFA, but since pugs FFA anyway, it's not so bad. Tor anroc is still 80% of the scenarios on my server though, so we do that more than isha, but since they fixed the first pickup giving the orb debuff, it hasn't been so bad really. They definitely need a random bonus to scenario to promote switchin around though

When will a MMORPG have voice chat for groups?
Couldn't they have this in scenarios and warbands?

Yes i have used ventrillo in a guild group but i find alot of joy playing games at random times with random people, just like TF2.

One day i envision a game like this as another TF2 type of game where i can play when i want.
In game voice chat within groups would make this game ten times better.

Yes i have done it a bit with ventrillo, but i have not settled on one guild yet like many of you already have. I have been waiting for the time soon when i have a set play schedule.

Advantages to an integrated solution to MMO chat:

- You can chat with pubbies if they happen to have a mic and want to chat
- Integration possibilities with the UI

Disadvantages:

- Usually doesn't ship with the game, so people get acclimated to their own Vent/TS servers
- You probably don't have good admin powers or interesting chat powers like easy private conversation, phantoms, applying effects individually to users
- You probably get kicked off if you're not on the game (dealbreaker)
- Wastes development effort and server resources

So they don't seem to see much use, at least not in EVE or WoW.

Echoing this. I'm only in T2 and I'm already tired of scenarios. I want to do some world PVP, but on the two servers I play on there is none. Keeps never change hands at all because everyone just queues for scenarios endlessly. If this keeps up and the game stays as instanced as it is I won't be around much longer.

The best way to improve WAR would be to explain what the classes are supposed to do, rather than be, before you can actually make one.

So, for example, instead of some useless information about being a melee character who excels at front-line combat, if you are a WH it says this:

"You are fragile melee DPS. Your job is to target and kill soft, high-profile targets such as Zealots and Magi. You rely on burst damage to kill opponents quickly. Most of your damage will be mitigated by tanks, so leave those for magic-based ranged DPS. Don't expect heals."

And then it makes you take a fucking test where if you are a WH who attacks BO#7 it promptly deletes your character.

Same goes for DoK/WP who only heal themselves; Shaman/Archmage who think they are ranged DPS; and WH/WE who think they are fucking awesome tank killers.

In other words, the biggest drawback in this game so far is the endless stream of complete fucktards who, even at the end of T2, still haven't learned to play their class.

- quest XP need to be buffed big time. It is way better XP to chain queue scenarios. It was fine at lower levels but did not scale.

- There should only be one "Enter Scenario Queue" button. The next X players on each faction will enter a random scenario map (like WoW Arena).

- After doing that, at each tier, all lower tier scenarios should be available in the random map pool as well. So at level 40 queuing up could put you in any Scenario in the game.

Nordenwatch - You get i think its 20-30 points for taking a point, please stop pushing lighthouse, yes we'll get the initial points but we'll lose barracks in the process then in the confusion that always follows we'll either lose lighthouse or Fotress, netting order just as many if not more points than we just had. Just hold fortress and barracks and take our 5-6 min win...sighhh.

Mourkains Temple - please chosen and that shaman or whomever it was who did it 3 times in a row last night. Please stop riding up there , picking it up and running back to our respawn to hide. Please either heal or guard that 21 Marauder who was right there with you, as he picks it up and rapes faces with it for twice the points per kill.

Tor Anroc - When we have 434 points, and Order has 420 and we have the bauble, for christs sake regroup at our spawn and let them come to us, instead of walking in 2-3 at a time and dying so they end up winning 500-484.

LoTRO also has integrated voice, while I was playing I noticed a good number of people using it.

Lighthouse and Barracks are 15 points for a cap, Fortress is 30. Fortress is worth double Lighthouse/Barracks for the accumulation points as well. The new super secret strategy is to just sit on Fortress forever and win with the bonus points you get from the hordes of kills Order gives you as they splash against your entire teams defenses at the Fortress.

The two most massive issues I have in PVP-

1. Morale abilities not going off. Sometimes I can click it ten times and just die with full morale and it never goes off. These are critical abilities and should be responsive.

2. Collision detection. I block people but 2 seconds later they warp 20 feet away. If you play a melee you know what I'm talking about.

Make sure the transparent quest log on the right hand side is toggled off. This might not be your problem, but it has blocked the morale buttons a couple of times for me.

Q speed is related to peak time. When the Q's suck, sure, I'd like to RvR but fuck, no one is around during those times. Q'ing up atm for wins or losses is just steadier more reliable XP atm. And levels are what I need. Some classes simply fucking suck till they are at least 25 (if not 40) because Mythic designed this shit so critical CORE abilities don't come till later.

I'd rather not fly back/forth among 3 different pairings punching myself in the dick everytime I have to watch the flight animation, then roam around on my horse looking for someone/something to kill... only to fucking fail because I'm either 'alone' and can't skirmish well, or I brought the 'wrong team' in insignificant numbers and no amount of my god given skill to pvp will make a fucking difference because of how shitty my class is setup.
