Maybe you guys should focus on comparing WoW's latest attempt at sieges and meaningful pvp with Lake Winter's Grasp. From what I've seen on the pvp forums players aren't impressed just like TBC.

What WoW needs is a cross-server territorial warfare system akin to EVE online. Increase the price for being killed, but make it meaningful to conquer another faction's territory.

Honestly, introducing such a system will save Blizz alot of time and effort of having to pump out more expansions, raid dungeons etc in order to retain their bored customers every 2-3 years.

I agree. They could have made cool RvR type shit if they just made more AV type BG's. They are too caught up in the lame ass competition bullshit and forgot the fun.

Pretty much no point in PvP'ing on Cyclone Horde right now. We used to win AB/WSG consistently, 50% EOTS, and maybe 20% AV, now I haven't won a BG since Thursday. I'm guessing thanks to Warhammer. Dunno what the deal is, but it's fucking gay.

Actually I forgot to elaborate further... what I imagine is that a separate cross server BG like world is created where the territorial conquest can occur. Cross server would have to be established, due to pop imbalances.

It could work storyline wise - with Outland and the many portals to new worlds, whose to say a completely new world ripe for the taking might be discovered?

OK, I just wanted to post in this thread in response to all the people who thought that the tiered arena gear with higher/lower/no AR requirement was a good/bad idea, or was going to change things in sucha-sucha-way:

Already exists, hi. Basically they are starting S5 out the way S3 and S4 started, rather than making people wait two seasons to have a trickle-down set. It just so happens that the bottom of the ladder is blue this time. When S6 starts, it will be purple. Logic is magic!
