+6 Internets | Hi guys, sorry it crashed right on stage. It was the worst feeling in the world. It was a great opportunity for us to be selected as a finalist at TechCrunch 50. Thank you for everyone's feedback. I really want to make a Kaos a game we all want to play. I know the model sounds different but we are sure it will work. The only thing I regret was not getting a picture with Mark Cuban wearing a Miami Heat shirt =( |

I wish you guys all the luck in the world and will be watching to see the game develop over the next year. Anyone who's passionate about online gaming, RPG's and trying to get a creation like this out there gets my support. Cheers.

+166 Internets | User generated content is fine when you can pick and choose what you want to take part of (CS maps/mods and my 2.5gb Oblivion mods directory attest to that). But when I wake up one day to find the enchanted forest with the beautiful princess and deadly dragon was replaced by some useless fuck who made it the penis mushroom maze with a anthropomorphic bunny rabbit and a sex swing at the end... Yeah, fuck user generated content. Oh, and talking about business models is best reserved for board rooms and powerpoint presentations. It makes for dry viewing unfortunately. 8( |

- design 3D monster/character - design 3D prop (chair, table, etc.) - design 3D equipment (sword, shield, etc.) - design a zone - design 2D art (UI schemes, book pages, portraits, etc.) Specify all submissions must be in XYZ format (or even, if you are cool, distribute your character/zone tool creation tool like UnrealEd or HL2 Hammer). The designers take a look at submissions every month and the best goes in game (with some cleanup by devs if necessary). In this manner your MMO could get a ton of free content and some random wannabe game designer gets something on his portfolio/resume. Don't see why game companies don't do this. There is no downside that I can see. Like youtube, you would be making money on content people make for free. Actually, they would be paying you a monthly fee to make content for you. ![]()

| You don't need alot of time to pitch to angel investors once you actually have their attention. By the time you're actually in front of investors, you're selling them on your passion, determination and adaptability, not your ideas or business models. |
