| Wow didn't know there are so many free ones out there. Been looking around all day and still can't decide. Anyone played Ragnarok Online recently? I know it has a subscription, but it looks interesting I and know a lot still play it.

| Perfect World went into open beta today. Played around with it for like 10 minutes so far, and it seems like it's more polished than most of the other free MMOs out there. Perfect World International |

+17 Internets | Tibia - Free Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game - MMORPG Played that before EQ came out and will come back to it off and on for about a month at a time about once a year. Not bad for a free game. Just don't play on an American server, unless you speak fluent Portuguese, or a PvP server and you'll be fine. |

| I found that MMORPG Free Online Games RPG Directory - ONRPG.com is one of the better sites for free MMO's and whats coming out in beta as well. They also have a forum section were you can find out if its even worth downloading. |

| Its not an MMO but anyone remember the name or have a link to the website to.. It was called Battle Wars or something, started out many years ago when EQ was still going strong. I don't know how else to describe it but as a forum game. You'd create a character; barbarian, goblin, elf ect.. and then you'd be level 0. Every 30minutes you'd earn a battle point in which case you could challenge someone else to a fight. The fight was all done by the server and you'd get the fight result after selecting to begin combat. You could read through the log of what happened but you had no control over it. So it was basically gambling, you would get rediculous exp for killing higher levels so you'd scroll through the 1000 or so characters and select someone who was higher level than you with a god awful ratio like 1:50 then hopefully stomp them. You'd also earn gold that you could spend on a few peices of gear. I think you only had the option of weapons, chest, and a helm. Maybe a few others but very limited. Anyway it was a lot of fun to do while browsing the net, I've tried to find it online again but I can't seem to get it right on google. Also like, Adventure Quest is a web based 'lunch time' game that was pretty fun for a while, I actually paid the 15 bucks to be a guardian but whoever does the text in that game never graduated highschool. It's not that it's gramatically incorrect or spelling errors but reading it reminds me of reading a story a 4th grader wrote about their mom talking to store clerk or something. Very unengaging. Fighting was kinda nifty though in that it was basically all about wearing the right elemental armor and using the right elemental weapon for the type of mob you where fighting. Ephron
