+29 Internets | I am going to pre-order. I am willing help with a guild, if anyone gets one going.

| Pre-ordered today at Gamestop, got the last copy they had. Braen, at least with Gamestop you can use the Open Beta access you get from the pre-order to evaluate the game for 11 days for nearly free. If you don't like it, just don't purchase the game come release. |

| if you pre-order from amazon you will get the open beta codes, not pay a penny until it ships, and you don't have to worry about not having the box in time or anything, there will be a grace period on launch when EA accounts (early access) have time to input the real retail box keys. |

+31 Internets | Yeah, GameStop says it doesn't charge your card until the game ships so I figure I have time to see what I think before pulling the trigger for real. If its any good I will probably just eat the box price and see how I feel after the intro month. |

| I know since it looks like character wipes are impending most of the CB people will have only the preview to play this weekend, just like everyone else. I would try to catch on with an established beta guild that is coming over en masse from another game this weekend if I were you. Like someone else said message board guilds usually don't work out and your best bet is probably one that is already established.

| Well, if it begins to fill up with kiddies, I just hope the community is some what like EQ, where if you keep fucking up, word gets around and you basically get black balled. Seems in WoW, either there are too many people to give a shit how bad you are or the level of not caring is extremely high.

Having played on the closed beta the last few months as Order I've constantly been on the winning team in PvP even when outnumbered by a 2:1 ratio. (Outdoor pvp so no caps) Constantly took down lords in keeps, and constantly was able to defend against assaults. People that suck at PvP and are worried about being outnumbered will be more likely to roll Destruction. People that are casual and base character choice on coolness will roll Destruction. People that don't mind being outnumbered and see that as a challenge(hardcore) that they want to prove they can accomplish, will want to roll Order. People that base character choice on the skill sets will roll both Order and Destruction. Both sides have classes that are very appealing. So why exactly are hardcore players going to want to roll Destruction over Order?

No, I don't think casual mom Sue Allen is going to want to play an Orc for the most part, but I could be wrong.
