Ok where does order go to get the temple of isha quest? It used to be this quest but as of yesterday (before the patch), the npc doesn't have that quest anymore for me. I can't find any hint of a temple of isha quest in the avelorn war camp.

For those playing Engineers, is electromagnetism(sp?) that well of a ability? I've been looking thru other posts and it sure seems to be huge whine threads about it. Thinking of running back to respec. I can see it doing wonders for a guild or coordinated group but I'm just doing PUG scenarios. Seems like 1/2 the time we don't even seem to be able to guard the carriers or people running all over the place without any other support. Free points for dest. ~.~

It's not worth it without a coordinated AE group, really.

So if you're just doing PUGs, I wouldn't bother with it.

From all the whining i assumed desto had no ability like it, but i guess Magus's can do it just as well?

Yeah magus have the same thing. I imagine it'd be awesome if you had a steady group setup that involved a few AoE casters, but otherwise not that great.

We usually run with 2-4 Marauders and it is just insane how good that Magus ability is for us.

so as a lvl 40 dok im starting to really dislike the game, i get melted by a bw that even looks at me funny and i feel like i can hardly even do my classes job at all... I rarely find it even worthwhile to bother meleeing, i honestly think i meleed more on my holy pally than i do on my dok most days. the scaling of healing in this game is god awful, willpower is increasing my hot by like 10 hp per tick for every 200pts of wp i get.

Killing just seems way to fast, its depressing watching my heal target get owned dispite everything i do over and over and over again. I really cant see myself playing much longer if it stays like this.

HOTs + DOTs do not scale much at all, and some theorize it is intentional to avoid the WoW Warlock/Druid syndrome. Your direct heals do scale with Willpower though, so group heals are the way to go (at least for WP, not sure if DoK get one). There's a pretty decent discussion about it here:

Tzeentch's Cordial has a 1.5 coefficient and Dark Medicine has a 2.0 on both parts of the heal. Willpower's +hps is based on the casting time usually, not the duration. There are exceptions; Dark Medicine actually has a better coefficient than one would expect. I don't really see a problem with it. Int scales the same way for damage too (except for channeled spells, which are where you truly get screwed by the coefficients). The only real gripe I have on the healing side of things is that damage prevention--Veil of Chaos, Ritual of Superiority, Don' Feel Nuthin, etc.--gets absolutely no bonus at all from willpower. Only the heal at the end of Veil of Chaos is increased.

Started doing Bastion Stair tonight for the Grade 5 gear... luckily it seems pretty doable without any grade 4 shit. I didn't get a chance to try and confirm if all of this is true, but since the guide had listed all of the piece drops from each boss correctly I'm inclined to believe it so far.

Anyway nice thing is a group of 40's can stroll through Bastion without getting much aggro, skip all of the PQ nonsense, run right to the bosses and down them once every 24 hours.

For anyone still having hitching issues, try maxing AF. Setting mine to 16x gets me a really large reduction in stuttering. I still have a gnarly mem leak that causes scenarios to be unplayable after a few hours, but PVE stuff is smooth as silk.
