| I don't have any complaints about the speed of levelling, but I wish the whole process flowed a little more naturally past T2. It's a pain having to jump from pairing to pairing to find enough quests for low 20's, then do it again for late 20's, and so forth, especially with the ridiculously small number of quests you can fit in your journal. Would also be awesome if they got rid of the repeatable scenario quests and just tied the XP in with the scenario's, so you don't miss out on XP if you don't hang out in warcamps all day. It kind of kills the whole purpose of being able to queue from anywhere within the world. |

+4 Internets | For T4, I've queued up for everything but it seems Serpent's Passage is the popular one here. That's the only one to pop for me so far. Only been 1 nite, and kinda off-hours so maybe when prime-time comes around the others will show up more. Where are the 2 quests for Serpents if anyone knows offhand. The scenario giver is in elf-land but I haven't seen a corresponding 'Kill X number' for that. Think just about all the other tiers, the quest pairs have been close by. I didn't see a 'Kill X number' for this tho. Basically looking for a convenient place to bind, travel, train and those 2 quest NPC if nearby for T4 now. |

Playing as destruction in Tor Anroc is pretty much free exp. Most of the time us Ironbreakers are the only reason Order has a chance in that scenario (against premades anyway). Also that knockback situation you described isn't likely, our AE knockback does no way in hell knock you back that far, it was probably a single kick knockback, which only hits 1 person at a time with a 20 sec recast delay. Even with that single knockback you can't get em in the lava from that ledge sometimes. So they would have had to gotten really lucky and done it over the course of a minute (during which the other 4 would have already respawned). Last edited by Eggplant999 : 10-08-2008 at 04:26 AM.

Without the regular scenarios, you need to grind a lot since the quests alone won't get you to rank 40 or even 30.

| It's really not that big of a deal to grind out 40 and do scenarios later. The renown you get later on is significantly higher so you'll catch up pretty quickly. I was getting close to 10k renown for games when I was in the teens. This was grouped, not solo. I was able to go from renown rank 14 to 24 in one night. At renown rank 24 I'm still getting between 4500-6500 renown per game depending on the game. This is in Serpent's with the 12 player map. You can probably get even more renown per game leter on when the other maps start popping. At the rate I'm getting renown in comparison to the higher level renown players, typically double their renown, I'll likely catch up to the highest renown levels on the server in 2-3 more nights of doing scenarios. Considering I did almost no scenarios when leveling to 40, and these guys have done nothing but scenarios for weeks straight the fact that I can catch them in just a few days means it really doesn't matter if you level with scenarios or not, as you can easily make-up the renown difference later on. The first screenshot is showing just under 10k renown grouped for a single scenario. The second screenshot is there to show the difference in renown between me, and a guildmate Nizzara, despite the fact that we had almost the same damage, killing blows and total kills. The third screenshot is just showing what a Bright Wizard can do. I've topped out over 400,000 damage in Serpent's. |

+2 Internets | Tor Anroc blows - I don't even bother queuing for it anymore. Isha, on the other hand, is fucking amazing. Small map, no running for 45-60s to get back to the objective, close proximity to enemy spawn point and good combination of open field / closed quarters combat is phenomenal.

+2 Internets | If by "need some work", you mean "are crazily overpowered" then I agree. WE's are significantly overpowered considering their mirror, the WH. I'm not calling for a nerf (that's never good for a game), but I'd rather see the mirror classes brought into some sort of equivalency line. Not just for one side or the other, there are classes on both sides that need significant amounts of work / upgrades - ie Black Orc, SW, Sorc.

I noticed someone mentioned the zealot knockback earlier too. It barely even works, and there are several bug reports about it on the zealot boards from people other than myself. I can run up to a whole group of people and use it and half the time not a single person moves an inch. Also, does anyone else have an issue with Tor Anroc being entirely black, other than the lava? All the stone textures are so dark in the game that I can't see the ground or walls, can't see the rocks that are in my way while running around, etc. No idea what's going on, I haven't changed anything in video settings in or out of the game and it just started happening Monday night.
