I don't have any complaints about the speed of levelling, but I wish the whole process flowed a little more naturally past T2. It's a pain having to jump from pairing to pairing to find enough quests for low 20's, then do it again for late 20's, and so forth, especially with the ridiculously small number of quests you can fit in your journal.

Would also be awesome if they got rid of the repeatable scenario quests and just tied the XP in with the scenario's, so you don't miss out on XP if you don't hang out in warcamps all day. It kind of kills the whole purpose of being able to queue from anywhere within the world.

For T4, I've queued up for everything but it seems Serpent's Passage is the popular one here. That's the only one to pop for me so far. Only been 1 nite, and kinda off-hours so maybe when prime-time comes around the others will show up more. Where are the 2 quests for Serpents if anyone knows offhand. The scenario giver is in elf-land but I haven't seen a corresponding 'Kill X number' for that. Think just about all the other tiers, the quest pairs have been close by. I didn't see a 'Kill X number' for this tho.

Basically looking for a convenient place to bind, travel, train and those 2 quest NPC if nearby for T4 now.

Got into our first tier 4 scenarios tonight, all Serpent's Pass. We won 3 games 500 to 2 back to back and then they suddenly stopped queuing for some reason!

Ding 40.

One theory is that there's a height component to the kb. I don't buy that, but any way you shake it IBs really have an advantage in tor anroc.

The last game I played two ibs punted 6 of our team into lava while we were standing right in front of our spawn up against the wall farthest from the lava.

The whole issue is that ironbreakers have crowd control abilities on par with a squig herder/engineer and a tank's survivability.
A destruction player bitching about unfairness in Tor Anroc? Come on now.

Playing as destruction in Tor Anroc is pretty much free exp. Most of the time us Ironbreakers are the only reason Order has a chance in that scenario (against premades anyway).

Also that knockback situation you described isn't likely, our AE knockback does no way in hell knock you back that far, it was probably a single kick knockback, which only hits 1 person at a time with a 20 sec recast delay. Even with that single knockback you can't get em in the lava from that ledge sometimes. So they would have had to gotten really lucky and done it over the course of a minute (during which the other 4 would have already respawned).

Serpent's Passage is popping more because it is only a 12 vs 12 scenario. I expect it is the only scenario we'll see on my server until more people level into tier 4. It's a fun scenario, but I'd like to see Battle of Praag and some of the 18 vs 18 and 24 vs 24 scenarios.

The quest givers should be in Dragonwake for Serpent's Passage.

28/25 indicates that you're doing tons of scenarios though compared to a server like mine that gets you into a scenario once an hour if you're lucky.
Without the regular scenarios, you need to grind a lot since the quests alone won't get you to rank 40 or even 30.

It's really not that big of a deal to grind out 40 and do scenarios later. The renown you get later on is significantly higher so you'll catch up pretty quickly. I was getting close to 10k renown for games when I was in the teens. This was grouped, not solo. I was able to go from renown rank 14 to 24 in one night. At renown rank 24 I'm still getting between 4500-6500 renown per game depending on the game.

This is in Serpent's with the 12 player map. You can probably get even more renown per game leter on when the other maps start popping.

At the rate I'm getting renown in comparison to the higher level renown players, typically double their renown, I'll likely catch up to the highest renown levels on the server in 2-3 more nights of doing scenarios. Considering I did almost no scenarios when leveling to 40, and these guys have done nothing but scenarios for weeks straight the fact that I can catch them in just a few days means it really doesn't matter if you level with scenarios or not, as you can easily make-up the renown difference later on.

The first screenshot is showing just under 10k renown grouped for a single scenario. The second screenshot is there to show the difference in renown between me, and a guildmate Nizzara, despite the fact that we had almost the same damage, killing blows and total kills. The third screenshot is just showing what a Bright Wizard can do. I've topped out over 400,000 damage in Serpent's.

I'd lay money that you were the BW who buffed the group last. Doing over 200k more dmg than the other two BW's, just tells me they really need to fix that shit so people will shut up. All the nerf cries are coming from these stupid numbers, when we really aren't even coming close to doing that.

Witch Elves need some work. Others here have mentioned it as well. Truth hurts. I don't know what your fucking problem is with me.

What you need is a kick in the Goddamn teeth.

Tor Anroc blows - I don't even bother queuing for it anymore.

Isha, on the other hand, is fucking amazing. Small map, no running for 45-60s to get back to the objective, close proximity to enemy spawn point and good combination of open field / closed quarters combat is phenomenal.

If by "need some work", you mean "are crazily overpowered" then I agree.

WE's are significantly overpowered considering their mirror, the WH.

I'm not calling for a nerf (that's never good for a game), but I'd rather see the mirror classes brought into some sort of equivalency line. Not just for one side or the other, there are classes on both sides that need significant amounts of work / upgrades - ie Black Orc, SW, Sorc.

As long as that balancing pass happens at the same time as BW vs. Sorc.

I was in the same game as Ashes, and it happened almost as he described. The IB was beating on me in a futile effort to get my hp below 90%, while I was directly against the wall below our spawn area. 3-4 others came over to help me, and he turns and AE kb's them all off into the lava. They flew from about 10' from the wall all the way over the edge. The funny thing is that after that he ran to another player who was near the edge (to single target kb, I assume) and I did my knockback on him and he moves about 2 feet on a level surface. Then the game ended.

I noticed someone mentioned the zealot knockback earlier too. It barely even works, and there are several bug reports about it on the zealot boards from people other than myself. I can run up to a whole group of people and use it and half the time not a single person moves an inch.

Also, does anyone else have an issue with Tor Anroc being entirely black, other than the lava? All the stone textures are so dark in the game that I can't see the ground or walls, can't see the rocks that are in my way while running around, etc. No idea what's going on, I haven't changed anything in video settings in or out of the game and it just started happening Monday night.
