Also Hopefully the AH blossoms, because not being able to use good materials gained from other gathering profs sucks. Having to vendor 2 of the 3 materials, because the other 2 come from different profs. I guess its a good idea, as it promotes the economy.

Not sure what exactly butchering gets you as far as usable components, but I assumed it was stuff like fertilizer for use in cultivation. The way I understood talismans was that you get the pieces you need multiples of from salvaging, and the thing you only need one of from scavenging. There are talismans that never expire either, I think they're the blue or better ones. You get them by getting really lucky on a combine. Scavenging also gets you water for use (usually as a stabilizer to increase success chance?) in apothecary. Some of that may be off, I experimented very little with actual talisman-making so I'm basing my assumptions mainly off looking at the stuff I got from scavenging and salvaging. The biggest issue I have with the crafting system isn't even directly crafting related. It's the fucking mailbox and its 20 second delay between messages that can only contain one item each. Standing around for several minutes sending off crafting stuff to an alt or a guild crafter is a royal pain in the ass. Last edited by Vorph : 09-15-2008 at 11:42 AM.

+1 Internets | During Open Beta, I was rolling around with 4-6 friends. We would queue for all 3 scenarios and just take whatever popped up first. edit: When you take a scenario, it automatically drops any other queues you were in. So once everyone is out, you have to requeue all 3. To those saying 1 or 2 people in the group didnt get a queue in a different zone, is it possible you weren't waiting for them to get out of the last game? |

+1 Internets | Yeah, that's definitely the way to do it. The only thing that bugged me, though, is that the Empire T1 warcamp seemed to be the only place on the Order side that seemed to have career trainers, renown trainers, and renown gear merchants all right next to each other. It's a pain to have to hoof it back and forth across a zone when you're leveling quickly. |

| Couple things. You can't do it across a warband. Say you have 12 people in a warband, across two groups. Each group must have a group member queue up. Make sure whomever is doing it is aware of the 'join solo' / 'join as group' option. Seems simple, but it's a new game and a lot of people may not realize they need to click the option.

| Dunno, but as long as it works that's cool. I think you're still better off running out to the right location if the queues are popping fast, because you make a fair amount more xp (and about 8 silver) from doing the quests every game, but if the queues are slow I'd much rather stay in DE land. |

+4 Internets | I'm really enjoying T2 scenarios. I was a bit wary of Stone Trolls the first few times. Hard to follow the action, but with a group that stays together and has a good class makeup it's great. I felt like I had a pretty good run but damn, the Archmages healed for a shit ton. ![]() |

+1 Internets | Hurricane Ike has been horrible for us in Houston, but I have power and cable now and my downtown office is closed til thurday. So paid vacation and extra play time with the SE edition headstart tommorow. That is pretty sweet. To counter balance the evilness of cheering for extra headstart time I am going to hang out at one of the FEMA stations to volunteer today or something. |

+2 Internets | Crafting Talismans seemed pretty fun. If you have a buddy to team up and pick a complimenting harvest skill, its a ton better. Potions are various flavors and on different timers so I can see this being pretty popular. Green - DD heal / Purple - Heal over time or something like that. That alone would get you away from any nasty situation / 3-4v 1 etc.
