| Yeah, I tried looking for something like that but couldn't find it yet. Is it in the racial capital or something? I was expecting to see mount vendors when I got into the t2 areas, but didn't think of backtracking. And are they level-locked? |

Also you can have people on your side with a mount also. So its not something prevalent to just 1 side. Btw they are bought in the capital cities. 20g iirc, which you should have by lvl 20 if not right after and that's the last of your gold sink Enjoy!

| Missed that there even was one, thanks. ![]() I wonder if there are still any places to preorder from that have headstart keys...wanted to give the game a good solid try before I did. If not I'll just wait until opening day. |

+5 Internets | Annoyed by a few things but have overall been happy with the Greenskin starting area due to it being linear and directed; hated the fact that I had hardly an idea where to go in the Human Order area, which was nothing but a big outdoor area with no f-n direction (on a side note, the red overlay that they do for quests on the main map needs to have a black outline for fucks like me that are slightly red/green colorblind, assuming it's just me that has a hard time; it's hard as shit to see the red overlays and could only find them by turning them off and back on). Before trying a warrior priest, I tried a swordmaster but stopped playing almost immediately due to the "I have a stick up my ass but can glide like an eagle" animations. Gobbies is where it's at. Now, some SSs now that they have fixed anti-aliasing for ATI cards. This is with 2x3870s with everything turned on in the ATI Control panel as well as everything max'd out in the current game options. Some few minor hitches when running into a new area (raptor may mean it's less than usual) but pretty smooth for Scenarios, Public Quests and general PvE...no one was ever around to try RvR. I personally think that these aren't spectactular SSs but it works well enough. I'd be more happy if they worked on their terrain textures but I realize why they may have to keep them where they are. Their lighting still needs work, imo. Also, unless I'm missing something, some baked-in ambient occlusion wouldn't hurt when it comes to those terrain textures. | I've really enjoyed the beta, almost more so than the WoW beta as the zones of control Mythic implemented could have been done by Bliz and for awhile were on the table as going in the game. While the PVE might be a little on the easy side its still satisfying and I'm really enjoying the PQ and especially the scenarios, not too mention the world PVP. Some predictions: WAR will sell very well I predict 2.5 million peak subs which would be a huge success for them and a PVP game of this type. There is going to be some epic bitching after release about "balance" which for the most part I think they have nailed down pretty fucking well. Some tweaks need to be made but overall they've done a great job They deserve a lot of praise for class diversity, a ton of classes that simply rock. Its a tribute to your game design when people are scratching their heads after OB trying to figure out what they want to play. Great job Mythic!

+4 Internets | Wow, I like the game and think it will do well, but those are huge numbers. It's certainly possible, but I wouldn't put any money on it, at least not in the short term. If you're meaning long term, like a year, then maybe. |

Lonin, drop me a line if ya need another. Attempting to coordinate groups of friends between Order and Destruction is currently a complete pain in the ass. After being forced to solo an assassin to 80 in AoC because no one was interested, it'd be nice to have folks to "fuck shit up with" Edit: and Vorph: buy that monitor...makes all games fucking spectactular to play. +4 Internets | I think it'll do very well. I'm enjoying it ALOT more then I was expecting to. But even if its peak only, 2.5m is some serious numbers tho. I can see it possibly selling 2.5m sometime in the future. Maybe after an expansion or so with total boxes shipped. But active subs, 2.5m a long shot for launch. I'm depressed after playing the game tho. It's obvious my current PC is just bearly making the 'playable' line at the game. I won't be able to upgrade (a whole new PC) til the holiday season comes around. I'm so tempted to bear with it for a few more months to stay with the game's leveling base instead of joining 3 months later. This is a game I almost certainly would want to play. =( |

The numbers game is amusing these days. While an EA game like Kanye and Lynch can sell over a million, shitty copies, the assumption that an MMO, which is PvP to boot, will do better than that is intriguing. I wish them the best, though ![]()

+5 Internets | Sorry if that response was rude, btw. I suppose that I was annoyed that cynical bastards from F13, of all people, still had rediculous predictions like this, which ultimately makes me sad. To see a similiar thing mentioned elsewhere brought out the asshole in me. Again, looking briefly back, I apologize if I came off like a dick.
