Some Elders on the forums are quoting that the concept is getting RR70 to RR71 is the same as RR1-RR50 so most players might soft cap around the RR50 mark, and the hardcore will dig deeper towards RR80. | |

When I first stumbled upon a Scenario in WAR, I was like "oh, WoW BG I get it... hmmm... nothing different about this". That was at all of like level 2, where I still had no idea what influence was, what renown was, what morale was, etc. There is no way for a player that hadn't been following the game to know all of that. Then I proceeded to do the PvE quests... I thought "Ok, cool... just like WoW"... and then stumbled upon the PQ's (which are cool). Then a quest that sends me to a scenario and which was repeatable (sound familiar?) and then a quest that sends me to a warcamp. That then sends me to an RvR area where it feels like a Tarren Mill/SS zerg with EoTS objectives. Sure, i was earning XP and renown... other than that... been there done that. Was playing a witch hunter, and I couldn't think of a single way to make it feel and play more like a WoW combat rogue. Fact. Fighting in WAR is very similar to WoW in all ways, but .5 seconds slower. So again... the differences are going to have to be hilighted by Mythic to make a difference to most players. ![]() Notice there are very few players that are voicing the same complaints with you about WAR not being more "different" than WoW in PvP. You make it sound like a lot of players think like you, which is a common psychological misconception. Just the fact that WAR is far more balanced for PvP than WoW is enough of a difference for most PvP vets in the end too--which is to be expected, one game was built from the ground up to be PvP-based, and one was built from the ground up to be PvE-based. PS - If you tried the Weekend, I'm really confused why you have all these uncertainties and questions. You're seriously in the minority about what's "different." | K we get it, machineman wants to grind out another 75K honor for another PvP set. Same thing as having fun in a scenario.
