I'm confused. Why don't you people wanting to get in to Open Beta do the following.

1. Buy the game from Amazon.
2. Pay whatever they ask, including all the retarded shipping fees if you are not in the US. Hell, make up a fake shipping address who cares.
3. Login to Amazon, retrieve your bonus keys.
4. Cancel your order.
---
5. Profit.

As long as you cancel before they ship the box, you don't pay anything. This is how I got into the preview weekend and the Open Beta without paying anything. What am I missing?

I just got a FilePlanet subscriber WAR Open Beta key. How do you get more than one, anyways? I got in the pre-order thingie, so don't need it.

The first person who PMs me that knows the difference between "your" and "you're" (sorry, Cinge and Hatorade, but you're out), as well as being able to spell really hard words like "you" and "are" can have it. After you get the key, you can figure the rest of the shit out by yourself. Don't bug me.

Nothing. You tested their server load and got your characters wiped twice. Its what a lot of people planned to do, although of the people I know preordering only one cancelled.

I used search thread for lag, frame, and fps, but didn't get what I was looking for. Can anyone on older cards say how the game will run (7900 GTX Go specifically if possible).

I know one guy said he got it "working" on an office computer, but I am looking for actual fps averages. Thanks.

Mine runs freaking beautifully on a 7600 GT. But my other computer specs are 2 gigs DDR2 800 Mhz and a C2D e6420. But yeah I get no lag when I force AA and AF and it looks amazing. I was expecting to have to upgrade my card but I see no reason to anymore.

Has anyone pre ordered from Best Buy? If so how long did it take to receive your key? I had a few gift cards laying around and pre ordered from them this past Saturday and have yet to receive my pre order keys and have already missed out on the preview weekend. I read somewhere that they email you the key so I was expecting it soon. Thanks.

If I were you, I'd go back to the Best Buy and ask them for the keys. Watch, I bet you money they weren't even aware of keys for that game. Just like the Gamestop here wasn't "aware". So I pre-ordered it from Amazon instead. Got the keys instantly.

The game ran great for me also all weekend.

Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz
2 GB PC2700 RAM
Geforce 7800 GS
Single WD Raptor
Windows XP

I ran the game at 1280x1024 with the 'fastest framerate' setting and all spell effects on. I had no problems in scenarios or RvR. I didn't test the higher graphics settings at all. I think I was just too happy it was smooth and left it be.
