You'll be glad the graphics look like that when you have 250-300 people on the screen at once and you have zero lag.

My friend is stating that he (at lvl 2 no less) thinks he got a new animation on his Warrior Priest.

Sorry for the deluge of posts, they definitely removed the specific population #'s, no way of telling the # of Order/Destruction balance (the server select screen still has the total pop #'s however)

Just noticed several npc corpses floating along the ground lol...thankfully it seems like the pop up questionnaires are gone.

Edit: Wow, that's really retarded. The game wasn't locked up, it had just swapped my mouse buttons so I was essentially right-clicking things and wondering why they weren't selecting. How silly. (Left-handed mouse)

To get the lame to look REALLY nice, force AF and AA on your cards. But given that there were about 150 people in the starting area I don't recommend it, and in some of the big RvR I think people are going to hit lag on the high settings.

My first impressions:

Pure win. I love, LOVE Public Quests. There's no excuse for every MMO not having these now. Some people are retarded, as usual, but I got a few people grouped up so we could actually complete what we needed to.

You also get Renown by completing PQs and after you've done a few/repeated a few, you'll be able to get the High/Med/Low rewards. I was used to the WoW way of thinking and thought if I got the Low reward then I wouldn't have enough Choopla Points of Tokenization to get the next two, but after my first two Renown reward people I realized you are awarded one from each tier as you become more...renowned.

I really like the melee classes but the casters seem to be pretty gimpy for the first few levels. Which is okay, cause they hit their stride at like...rank 8ish, but be prepared to get owned as a zealot for the first 3 levels fighting anything other than an optimal at-range pull.

The RvR was dead sexy. DEAD sexy. I gained two levels in one and had a blast. The guys we were fighting were trying the gay stand off try and range them down, but me and two other guys would charge in and wreck their crap and cap some sort of...Khaine flag that unleased The Big Ball of Own when you controlled both of them. I died a bunch but still came out on top cause I killed more than two for every death.

I had one CTD when I tried to enter a scenario when I was in combat. Kind of a downer, which is why I came to write this stuff while I consider going to bed.

The auto-attack combat needs work but the SAs aren't bad. Also when you snag a bit of terrain, sometimes you stand there in the falling animation or running animation when really you're stuck on some piece of concrete. NPCs seem to be affected by this as well.

I had no problems with the "autofacing" that seemed to have plagued others.

I actually didn't have enough to train two of my abilities when I got them because I had no money, even with selling all the stuff I got/doing quests. Wasn't a big deal, just did a few more and got both of the ones I was missing but the silver cost should line up more closely with how much you get. Or maybe I was unlucky with trash drops for both characters I rolled, /shrug.

Anyway, pure win imo. Really enjoyed.

Did u mess with your preformance and quality settings in you nvidia control panel?

Well I was pretty shocked to find the servers up when I woke up at 8:30 this morning. I just played for two hours straight and the game performed beautifully for me(I had fastest framerate setting going).

I started with an archmage and did a few quests until I saw the khaine's embrace quest. I spent the last hour or so in there....great fun.

Most of all I'm just pleased that so far it's performing very well on my old system(pentium 4 with 7800 GS).

The game did just boot me back to the login screen, so I'm not sure if the servers are down or not. Back to try for more...

Order always wins the pvp battleground on my server. Maybe its because we always are made up of like 80% bright wizards. Just seems far to easy.

Order's been losing a good bit on mine. The problem is the only healers we have are Warrior Priests and they don't seem to want to heal anyone, while Destro has a ton of healers.

As a Witch Hunter I keep coming up on the top of the scoreboard though, heh.
