Some of the sluggish feel also comes from the really buggy floating combat text, while heals have never bugged out on me my target damage frequently does. There is an add-on being scripted right now though that revamps it into more of a SCT style system. No idea if Mythic plans to implement changes to their system though.

Is this what you guys are running/seeing to patch? I put my info in, same info that gets me into Account Management website, and it tries to open a patcher but then boots me out. After a few tries it says I've used all my available tries and have to wait.

Figured it out. My fucking account name is different from my, I don't know...account name. I log in to account management with Oppenheim, and then it shows up as Jabberwhacky, and I use Jabberwhacky to get in game. Apparently I messed something up when I was registering!

all scenarios have a timer, usually pretty short - 10 to 15 mins. So you won't ever have endless, its-faster-to-afk-out-and-requeue games like wow. PQs have a stage 1 which is usually something like "kill 40 newb NPCs", no timer. You can do this with 1-n people, and it just sits there until the goal is met. stage 2 will be "kill 10 elites + dunk 4 apples in a barrel". That requires a group, and usually has a timer. stage 3 will be a boss. Once the boss is dead (or timer runs out), loot is passed out, and in 2 mins the PQ resets. You can literally stand in one spot for hours doing nothing other than that PQ, although usually after 4-6 runs you will be at max influence and be ready to move onto the next one - its very much on rails in this regards, you follow the map like the yellow brick road, from PQ to PQ. camps and stuff are along the way for quests/training/vendors/etc, and you can join a PVP scenario anytime you want.

Then there's your game account, which is the one that lists the "CE Preorder", "Preview Weekend" stuff... That's the one you use to log in to the game. It's more apparent when you have multiple game accounts, use the account name that's in the red box. ![]()

Well, most of the influences I've maxed out can be done in under an hour. You get experience and loot while doing it. This is just Tier 1 though, and it depends on how many people are doing it with you. There is definitely no grind to it though, not like Rep Grinding in WOW.
